Update

As always, thank you for all the prayers, love and support 🩷

It truly means so much to me I can’t even find the words.

I got the news today that my insurance approved my new chemo treatment and I’ll get 2 oral chemo pills delivered to my door every month that I’ll be on daily. My infusion via port at the cancer center will be every 3 weeks. I’m ready to get this chemo started in hopes of it shrinking the tumors down asap.

I’m still very sleepy but those seizures, brain tumors, stress, new medications have really put me through a loop the last almost 2 weeks. I’ve been trying to stay positive and trying to get a small task done a day for sanity.

Seizure meds have definitely helped keep everything under control and I meet with oncology neurologist on Friday 🩷

Update:

With a heavy heart i have decided its the best decision to temporarily close business again as I navigate my next phase of treatment 💔

At this point, the seizures have messed up my coordination and I would never jeopardize the safety of the pets in my care. Plus not having good use of my right arm really affects my work.

I had a CT scan done of my chest, abdomen and pelvis yesterday which showed a suspicious spot on my liver and right hip, waiting for a follow up MRI to be scheduled to see what's going on there.

I spoke with the specialty pharmacist today and waiting on approval for a new chemo med. The plan is to start 2 different oral chemo meds daily and get another one via infusion through my port every 3 weeks. The oral meds come with a whole new set of side effects so we will see how my body handles it all. I should be starting this on 10/5 as long as insurance approves it and my bloodwork is okay.

I also have a consultation with Nero oncology at strong on 10/2 and radiation oncology later in october. Hoping to get some chemo in my body to shrink the lesions on my brain which will make radiation more successful.

I want to say thank you for all the prayers, well wishes, support and love. Having so many supportive people during this time sincerely helps me so much more than I can put into words.

I have been staying as positive as I can during all of this. I havent lost hope that I can beat this and live to see my kids grow up. Its just going to take some time and putting my health first (which is not easy for me). I will be updating on my page as I can because if im able to help someone through my journey and experiences I am happy to share and help and offer hope.

I was discharged from NOYES today. I tried to stop to pick you medicine but went into a grand .mal seizure so sean stopped at wafsaw where they got my seizures to stop. So I started going numb and no control of my left side. Had a CT of my head which showed some suspicious spots on my brain.got a mri for a better and different look of my brain. Unfortunately that showed my suspicious spots are im fact brain mets. I dont know what the next steps in my treatment are but know ill be getting some radiagion to my brain. Calling my oncologist to.orrowto come up with a plan.

I am planning to stay closed this week and will reach out to reschedule grooming appointments. I want to thank everyone for the love and support and patience during this time. Thank yoh

Good evening. I will be closed tomorrow (tuesday) and likely the rest of the week. I am currently in the hospital trying to get seizures under control. Im so.sordy for the inconvenience
