Bella Mia Goldens AKC registered Golden Retrievers We have a small breeding program. We breed for health and temperament, with a focus on medium and dark coats.

Our dogs are part of our family, and puppies are raised in our home, where they can be handled and socialized frequently during the day. Parents are OFA hip/elbow certified and our girls have all been DNA tested. Puppies receive early neurological stimulation to promote optimal health and performance. Introducing Revvie and Scout's new litter! We have 4 girls and 3 boys! They are small like their mother was a birth, but all are doing well and are actively pursuing the milk bar. I'm going to enjoy watching these little ones plump up and grow. Gotta love those pink noses and paw pads that will be turning black very soon!
This is Revvie's last litter. She is such as dedicated momma who LOVES newborns. She doesn't let them stray far away from her before she picks them up and puts them back in the pile.

2 year old Gracie enjoying the pool on a hot day! She reminds me of a dog we had many years ago, who I think was primarily a mix of golden and German Shepherd. If we swam in a pond, she would swim out and circle us until we took hold of her tail, and she would pull us to shore. She never felt comfortable with our swimming abilities! 😂

Little Gracie is 9 weeks old. Her family is excited to come and pick her up in 3 days. In the meantime, she spends a lot of time playing with Mia and Revvie, sleeping with Misty and Benly, and winning over our older dogs Willow and Lily. She loves to be outside, but on this rainy day I've been making her stay indoors. We don't need a mud puppy!
She has been doing a great job learning how to sit and wait for her food. Her housetraining continues, and she still relies on the litter box occasionally. Especially during the night. She's a smart, sweet girl who is one if the easiest puppies I've worked with💕

After the initial craziness when we first get up at six, Gracie is allowed to run with the dogs in their yard. Then it's time for play . Here she is playing with Mia. Mia is excellent at wearing her out! Soon Gracie will be taking a two hour nap while I put my feet up and let the coffee kick in. Mornings are pretty busy here so I usually don't get my first coffee till I've been awake for a couple hours. Haha

This is that bittersweet time when the house gets too quiet. Nine of the puppies have left for their new homes. Only little Gracie is still here. She will be here until the middle of next week when school lets out. She sleeps with her mother at night and follows the big dogs around. The two older dogs in our pack already let her know that they aren't interested in playing with her. But they do approach her to sniff noses and wag their tails at her. She just can't approach them, lol. She is a quick study and is very respectful and submissive toward her elders.
Today, Gracie helped me w**d a garden, and ran with the dogs in their big yard. Her Aunt Mia spends the most time with her, bringing her toys and laying down to play with her

I slowly began waking up in my bed this morning, the room is darkened and the blinds down. I could hear the sounds of thunder rumbling as I was becoming conscious. I love the sound of thunder and thought ‘What a nice morning it will be after a rain. Everything will be fresh.’
As I lie there beginning to collect my thoughts and think about what I had to do today. It suddenly occurred to me that the thunder wasn’t stopping. It was a continuous loud rumble. Just then the dogs started barking.
Uh-oh…… It’s not thunder! It was the sound of 40 little paws, running amok throughout the house, having a Wild Adventure! We rushed downstairs to see all the wagging tails and excitement. They had used their 115 lbs of collective weight to push over their enclosure.😆 I opened the door to the deck and they were happy to rush out and greet the day. It is now an hour later and I’m still waiting for everyone to start winding down before I feed them.
I always try to see the good in everything. No one was hurt, the vet has proclaimed them all healthy as of their checkups yesterday, I didn’t have to listen to the sound of an alarm to wake me up, and now I get to use my problem solving skills to contain all this pure energy tonight so that I don’t wake up to thunder tomorrow morning.
