Today we honor the heroes who serve on four legs. 🇺🇸

March 13th is National K9 Veterans Day, observed on the anniversary of the U.S. Army’s launch of the War Dog Program during World War II in 1942.

Military Working Dogs have served alongside our armed forces for decades, protecting troops, detecting explosives, locating missing persons, and saving countless lives. These remarkable dogs demonstrate courage, loyalty, and dedication far beyond what we could ever ask of them.

Thank you to all Military Working Dogs and their handlers for your service and sacrifice. 🇺🇸
