🐍✨ Meet Cleo! Our newest gorgeous noodle friend!

Cleo is a beautiful ball python who recently visited us for the very first time, and we are OBSESSED with her stunning pattern! Just look at those markings! She understood the assignment.

🤓 Did you know? Ball pythons get their name from their adorable defense mechanism! When they feel threatened, they often curl up into a tight ball, tucking their head safely in the middle. Talk about a built-in stress ball!

We love seeing unique pets like Cleo and helping them stay happy and healthy!

Do you have a scaly, feathery, or furry friend who needs a checkup? Give us a call to schedule an appointment with our team! And tell us in the comments: what kind of exotic pet should we introduce you to next? 👇

😾📈 Resting grumpy face, professional cuddle bug, part-time glucose monitor model. Meet Seager! 💚🐈

This handsome man might look like he has a few complaints to file with management, but in reality, he was ALL about the headbutts and snuggles. 🥹❤️

Seager visits us regularly to help manage his diabetes. To make monitoring his blood glucose easier at home, we placed a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) that allows his family to keep an eye on his levels without all the extra pokes and guesswork! 📊🐾

✨ Did you know? Some cats with diabetes can actually go into diabetic remission with appropriate treatment and monitoring! That means their blood glucose levels may return to a normal range, and they may no longer need insulin for a period of time. Every cat is different, though, and continued monitoring is still important.

Cats really said, “We’re going to keep veterinary medicine interesting, and you’re going to thank us for it.” 😂

Keep being iconic, Seager. We’re rooting for you! 💚🐈

Do you know how excited we get when our little pocket pet patients willingly eat after a procedure?! 🎉

For our small herbivore friends, keeping that GI tract moving is SO important! One of the biggest things we monitor after a procedure is whether they’re interested in eating, since a decreased appetite can be a sign of pain or other complications.

So when we see these little guys happily munching away during recovery, you better believe we’re celebrating! 🥹🙌

Sometimes, the biggest wins come in the smallest (and crunchiest) packages. 💚🐭
