These two fabulous Sphynx kitties stopped by Fitchburg Vet for their annual wellness visits! 🩷🩺 They were here to make sure their vaccines, physical exams, and overall health are all on point. 😻

👀 Sphynx fun fact: They may look hairless, but Sphynx cats actually have a fine layer of peach-fuzz-like hair! And because they don’t have much fur to absorb oils, they can get a little… ✨greasy✨ and may need regular baths. 😂🛁

We had the sweetest little visitor stop by Fitchburg Vet, and his name is Skye! 💕🐶

Skye is a brand-new puppy and he is already stealing hearts around here. 🥹 We’re pretty sure he spent her visit collecting treats, making new friends, and practicing his best “I’m totally innocent” puppy face. 😂

We LOVE getting to meet puppies early and helping them learn that the vet can be a happy, positive place! 🩷✨

🎮🚨 BRUCE REALLY TOOK “GAMING SETUP” TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL. 🚨🎮

Bruce came to see us because he just wasn’t feeling like himself. We started with abdominal radiographs to see what was going on… and UMMM. 😳

THIS DOG HAD AN ENTIRE GAMING SETUP IN HIS STOMACH. 🫠🎮

We’re talking a WHOLE GAMING HEADSET, MICROPHONE, AND ALL! 🎧🎤

And if you zoom in on the X-ray… YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE SCREWS. 😭🔩

Needless to say, this was not a “let’s wait and see” situation. Our team performed surgery to safely remove the foreign material, and thankfully Bruce is feeling better!

Friendly reminder: Pets can swallow some WILD things, and foreign objects can become serious emergencies very quickly. If your pet suddenly isn’t feeling well or you suspect they swallowed something they shouldn’t have, contact your veterinarian right away.
