🎉❤️ GUESS WHO IS NOW TESTING HEARTWORM NEGATIVE?! GEMMA! ❤️🎉

This girl has come a LONG way.

Gemma (formerly Royal) was a stray at Memphis Animal Services with her card pulled for euthanasia. We met the supposedly “shut down” girl, took her outside... and she immediately came alive. She played, ran, and showed us she was ready for her chance.

So she walked right out the front door with us. ❤️

Today Gemma is dog friendly, playful, potty trained, crate trained, smart, and a total cuddle bug once she knows you. She may be shy at first, but give her a little time and you’ll have a permanent shadow.

She escaped the euthanasia list.
She beat heartworms. 💪

Now there’s just one thing left:

🏡 HER FOREVER HOME.

Vallo is trying REALLY hard to get his future adopter’s attention.

Apparently, we haven’t done a good enough job, so he’s taking matters into his own paws… and trying to catch your attention by jumping into pools. 😂

Someone is seriously missing out on this dog. Call Edgar and ask, he will verify.

Vallo is fun, easygoing, dog friendly, incredibly smart, and always up for doing something with you. Give him a ball, some water, or just somewhere to explore and he’s happy.

And with those ridiculously long legs, we probably should have seen the pool jumping coming.

He’s just a really good dog who is ready for his person to finally notice him.

Happy Tails, Pretty Girl — affectionately known as Poppy! 🐾❤️

There were eight of them.

Eight siblings sitting in a high-kill shelter, watching their time slowly run out.

Their former owner knew they needed help and reached out to rescues and advocates. People donated, fosters stepped up, and with a whole lot of people working together, Team Memphis Rescue & Support was able to say yes.

All eight walked out alive.

Pretty Girl was one of them. 💕

Once safe, we quickly learned Poppy was a gentle, affectionate girl who found comfort in being close to her person. She loved treats, proudly carried her bones around, and outside she was pure joy — jumping around and soaking up the sunshine.

Then Poppy made her way to Pennsylvania, where she joined another TMRS fan favorite — Lily.

The girls apparently didn't need much time to discuss the arrangement. They decided they were going to be best friends. ❤️

And somewhere along the way, Poppy wasn't just settling into life in Pennsylvania.

She was settling into home.

One of eight dogs who once needed an entire village to save her now has a family of her own — and a best friend named Lily to share it with.

🌙 WELCOME TO MOON’S LITTLE WORLD ☾

Moon has a few opinions about life…

🐿️ Squirrels: Absolutely unacceptable.
🧸 Toys: Meh.
🐕 Dog friends: NOW we’re talking.
❤️ Snuggling: Yes, please.

Moon LOVES other dogs and currently lives with a much bigger male buddy. Wrestling, zooming and hanging out with a canine friend are pretty much her favorite things.

She’s crate trained, sleeps through the night, walks beautifully on leash and does great with free range when her people are home. House or apartment — Moon can do either!

Moon can be a little nervous with new people, especially men, and startles easily. But give her some patience and time, and her sweet, cuddly side comes shining through. Because little kids can make her uncomfortable, adults or older, respectful kids would be her best fit.

🌙 Moon may make you earn your place in her little world…

but being chosen by Moon is pretty special. ❤️🐾

Those ears. Those legs. THAT FACE. 😍

Vallo is the total package: dog friendly, smart, athletic, crate trained, potty trained, and ridiculously affectionate.

🎾 Ball is LIFE. He loves to run, play, explore, and is even discovering the joys of water.

🐕 He plays with dogs big and small.
🧠 He knows sit and down, has good recall, and walks nicely on leash.
❤️ And despite those mile-long legs, Vallo is 100% convinced he belongs in your lap.

His only weakness? Squirrels. 🐿️ Apparently all training becomes optional when one appears. 😂

Vallo came into Memphis Animal Services as a puppy and eventually landed on the euthanasia list because there simply wasn't enough space.

He was pulled into foster just HOURS before he was scheduled to die.

He got his second chance. Now he needs the part we can't give him without you:

A forever home. 🏡❤️

🐾❤️ OMG OMG OMG… HAPPY TAILS, CARLEY!!! ❤️🐾

We are absolutely ELATED about this one!

Carley has been one of our long-term girls who just could not catch a break. She and her sister, Sami, were found tied up and abandoned outside a shelter, and we rescued them both. Carley spent a lot of time in a foster home, going to events and meeting so many people, but her people just hadn't found her yet.

And then came a PetSmart event in August 2026. ❤️

A family met Carley and stayed for the ENTIRE event just getting to know her. Not five minutes. Not a quick hello. They stayed. They saw the goofy, loving, tennis-ball-obsessed girl we all adore and decided they wanted to apply.

After a great home visit, Carley got to go check out her new digs.

And now…

CARLEY HAS A FAMILY!!! 😭😭😭

Our big goofy girl, who will literally throw her own tennis ball when nobody is available to play fetch, doesn't have to wait anymore.

There are so many good dogs in rescue who have been waiting a long time for their chance. Sometimes they just need the right person to stop, spend some time with them, and really see who they are.

We're so grateful to PetSmart for giving our dogs opportunities like this. Pictures are cute, but nothing compares to meeting them and seeing their personalities for yourself. ❤️

After all this time, she finally caught her break.

Seriously, have you SEEN this girl? 😍

Spice has spent time training at The Champion Farm and has an amazing, committed foster who has put in the work with her. She’s house trained, great in a crate, walks well on leash, knows commands, and loves playing with other dogs.

She’s also a total snuggle bug. Her foster calls her “Nurse Spice” because if someone isn’t feeling well, Spice is right there keeping watch. ❤️

She loves being outside, chasing squirrels, playing fetch, and running around with her dog friends. She’d love a fenced yard and a canine sibling to share the fun with.

Spice can be sensitive to loud noises and needs a little patience with new things, but once she settles in, you get a smart, goofy, affectionate girl who just wants to be part of everything.

Beautiful, trained, crate-loving AND cuddly? Spice is ready for her family. 🌶️❤️
