Blues City Animal Rescue Blues City Animal Rescue is a foster-based dog rescue organization located in Memphis, TN, serving the Midsouth, Midwest, and New England.

Our mission is to help foster, nurture and care for unwanted dogs and puppies until they can find their chance at a new, wonderful life. Blues City Rescue is a not-for-profit rescue program whose primary purpose is to relocate dogs and puppies from the rural south to the Midwest and New England, where overpopulation is not as dire. Our goal is to help clear crowded shelters in the south, help dogs

who have been dumped, dogs with medical emergencies…if a dog needs help in any way we do our best to get them the care they need. The goal is to place as many dogs and puppies in new homes where they will have the most wonderful lives and become part of a new family. Blues City Rescue is entirely volunteer based. All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes until they find their perfect adopter. All dogs come from various backgrounds – abuse, neglect, homeless, injured, unwanted, unloved, scared, alone – but they are all given the necessary love and attention they need while they wait to find their fur-ever homes. Blues City Rescue transports and travels to the Midwest all the way to New England via RescueVet transport several times per month to transport our adopted animals to their new homes.

His foster mom says when her little boy gets upset or starts crying, Alfie immediately plops himself right on top of him like a furry weighted blanket. ❤️ She truly believes he’d be the perfect companion for a child.

Alfie is the total package: sweet, easygoing, housebroken, and always ready for his next adventure. But his best feature? Those adorable little legs that make it look like he’s wearing tiny shorts everywhere he goes. 😂

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a heart of gold and the cutest “short pants” in town, Alfie is your guy!

Meet Dylia 🐾 Around 3–4 years old, this sweet pittie girl is the total package. She’s spayed, fully vetted, on heartworm prevention, housebroken, crate trained, walks great on a leash, and loves car rides. She’s also dog, cat, and kid friendly!

Dylia may be 60 pounds, but she’s convinced she’s an 8-pound lap dog 🤣 She’s loving, goofy, and ready to steal your heart. Please help us find this sweet girl a safe place to land ASAP. ❤️

This short king is 2 years old, 33 pounds, and packed full of love. Brody is a super sociable French Bulldog/Bulldog mix who loves dogs, kids, and making new friends wherever he goes.

He may be low to the ground, but his personality is HUGE. Equal parts goofy, cuddly, and adorable — Brody is ready to waddle his way right into your heart and onto your couch. 🐾
