Been trying to hold off on another vet visit as he’s gone 3x and the vet says his eye issues are likely due to FIV and stress and it seems to flare up but I also concerned he needs antibiotics it’s just hard to get him in a carrier to go and then it’s very stressful for him so we’ll see but I’m also trying to look into other options for a traveling vet, online visit I don’t know if they can prescribe in my state😓

If you were looking for a sign to trap and rescue that cat here it is.
Facebook is a really great resource for finding local help with cat rescue efforts. If you don’t own a trap, you could likely borrow one from your local shelter or from somebody on Facebook. I got mine from tractor supply co for $40. An outdoor camera can help with the process. Covering the trap with a blanket and putting food inside. Keeping the cage around for a few days before putting food inside to get the cat used to it. Most young ferals will probably enjoy their freedom outside to a certain extent but none of mine act like they ever want to go back outside and they’re safer indoors. The older the feral the more grateful they may be to have safety as feral cats only live 2-4 years outdoors on average 🥲

When you got a senior rescue cat it’s always scary when they’re in a deep sleep 😹
