The butterflies are ready for Story Time this week! 🦋🦋

We still have spots available for Tuesday and Thursday 10-11:30am. Both days also have private baby goat snuggles available to add-on afterwards.🐐

The weather will be beautiful, kids are out of school for the summer, and butterflies will be released on Thursday. How could this week be any more fun?

Oh, I know! It is also Bring a Friend week. If you have ever been to any event at the farm before and bring a friend to story time this week, you both receive $5 off your next visit!

We had a great group of girls from a Brownie Troop out for the Be a Farmer Tour yesterday. 🌻

They collected eggs, brushed Mo the horse, held the snake, took the goats on a walk, and even scooped some poo. 💩

They had the best time running around the farm with their friends and several asked if they could come work here. 😂

Meet Brandy 🐍

He is a Corn Snake that will be 14 in 3 days! Corn Snakes can live to be 20 in captivity. He may not look big, but he is close to 4 feet when he stretches all the way out.

He is extremely friendly and curious. He loves to explore. Sometimes he even slithers into shirts when being held 🤪

He was the first animal to join our family way back when he was a tiny 3 week old. We thought he was a girl for a while, so he ended up being a daddy to a beautiful clutch of baby snakes. 🐍

💧Story Time is cancelled for tomorrow 5/27. The barnyard and driveway are flooded. 💧

We had a wonderful homeschool co-op have a private story time at the farm this morning. ❤️

The kids were so engaged in the story, the craft, and learning about the animals, which is not always the case. 😂

Thursday 10-11:30 is our next story time and the weather is looking great! The private baby goat snuggle is also still available for Thursday. So grab your tickets below ⬇️

Meet Blanca 🐑

She is a 2 year old Barbados Blackbelly Sheep...yes I said sheep. Most people think she is a goat, especially since she lives with goats, looks like a goat, and acts like a goat 😂

She gets wooly in the winter and then sheds it out in big chunks when it gets warm. That's why she looks a little crazy right now. ☀️

Her and her sister Reba live with our goat herd. They help eat the grass all the way down since they are grazers. 🍀

Blanca is the one with the white tail and she is as sweet as can be and a super silly eater. 🤪

Today we learned about Australorps, gave all the animals treats, and had an adorable toad come visit us! 🐸

Next week we will be learning all about our barn cats Nana and Gumdrop! 🐈🐈‍⬛

We have a private group coming Tuesday, but Thursday is open for everyone and has tickets available. ❤️
