What a weekend!!!
4 riders and 4 champions! Plus I had the honor of winning the trainers class. A class where the trainers are invited to ride IEA style (a draw to see which horse you show) and to honor a local legend. I would like to add that the equine community here in central Ohio is one of the most supportive group of amazing people I am can call friends. I am so lucky to have landed here twenty years ago.

Perfect weather, perfect ponies and so many amazing rides!!! Can’t wait for our last show on Halloween!!

One of our own made the cover of an incredibly special show! ❤️

A little change to our show schedule!

We’ve decided to switch things up and move the Not So Spooky Fall Classic to the end of October. That way, we can fully enjoy all the fun costume classes and spooky festivities that come along with it!

Our next show will be the Joel Potter Memorial Classic.

Our driveway is currently blocked so the crews can remove the tree from the power line

Another day of storms.

We are looking for volunteers to help get the ponies out of their stalls and go for walks! Our big paddock has a tree on the power line that runs through it so I have closed off that paddock and the others are under water. Not sure when the electric crews will get to it given all the power outages in the area. Thankfully we have power! The arena is flooded as well (which is super rare with it being on a hill). With the forecast looking very rainy, the ponies will be stuck inside for at least the next week.

Stay safe and our doors are open!

Massive storm came through and thankfully all the animals are safe.
We do have several trees down and a fence, but that’s all fixable. We are lucky given the severity of the storm.

Another fantastic Happily Ever After Show!
Simon had 2 riders both trying something new! One tried her hand in the 2’ and crushed it with some really nice rounds, the other had her first show ever and was reserve champion in ground poles!
And don’t tell me you can’t teach old ponies new tricks because Spot and his rider tried out the puddle jumpers and came out on top as champion! Spot also took another rider to earn some great ribbons in large flat classes.
Baby Dips was one again a solid citizen earning champion.
Pirate also laid down some nice trips, and I’m giving a huge shout out to the amazing horsemanship his rider showed as he was very concerned about a lawnmower monster on the outside of the arena.

Great job ladies!

Due to the air quality, all riding is cancelled today to keep our equines safe. I’ll be checking on them constantly, especially our older ponies.

Stay safe my friends
