☀️🐾 Summer Is Here – Keep Your Pets Safe in the Heat! 🐾☀️

The Florida heat is no joke, and our furry family members can overheat much faster than we do. As temperatures rise, here are a few important tips to keep your pets safe and comfortable this summer:

🌡️ Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day — Early mornings and evenings are best.

💧 Provide plenty of fresh water — Keep water available at all times, both indoors and outdoors.

🐾 Protect those paws — Hot pavement can burn paw pads. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their feet!

🏠 Never leave pets in a parked car — Even with windows cracked, temperatures can become deadly within minutes.

😎 Watch for signs of heatstroke — Excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse require immediate veterinary attention.

🏖️ Make sure outdoor pets have access to shade and a cool place to rest.

This sweet 7-year old boy is looking for a loving new home after the recent passing of his owner. Half Pint is gentle, affectionate indoor kitty who enjoys the simple things in life - catnip, toys, bird watching from the window, and cozy naps.

He has lived peacefully with another calm cat and dog and does well in a quiet home environment. He is up to date on all vaccines through 2027 and is ready to find someone special to love him again.

In honor of Memorial Day, we will be closed for Memorial Day Weekend as we take time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

We hope you and your pets have a safe and relaxing holiday weekend! If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th!

Hi SJBAH Family,
Please note that San Jose Beauclerc Animal Hospital will be closed on

Saturday, May 16th and Saturday, May 23rd due to a scheduling exception this month.

We are typically closed one Saturday each month, but we will be closed two Saturdays during May.

We appreciate your understanding and continued trust in our team!

Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of our 2 and 4 legged mommas! This weekend, we celebrate YOU and all of the sacrifices and unconditional love you so willingly give. Just a few reminders as we shower our moms with sweet little reminders of our love:
-Not all flowers are pet friendly...flowers such as lilies, azaleas and tulips are actually toxic. You can always reach for the roses, orchids or sunflowers! (She will love any flower you give her) 🥰
-Ribbons and bows are super fun until they have to be surgically removed 😬
-Keep all chocolates out of paws reach! 🐾
