🐾 Furry Friend Friday: A little pause for Pogo 💕

Between the ringing phones, busy appointments, and everyday chaos, there are moments like this—when we stop for a second and simply admire the little life in front of us. 🥹

Pogo the opossum came in to have his legs checked, but clearly, a little admiration was part of his visit, too! Just look at our team taking him in. How could we resist that face? 🤍

These moments remind us why we fell in love with caring for animals in the first place. Every patient brings something special to our day, and we’re grateful to be part of their care.

🎃🐾 Tip Thursday: Keep the sweets out of paws’ reach!

Stocking up for trick-or-treaters? Make sure your Halloween candy stash stays safely tucked away! 🍬

🍫 Chocolate can be toxic to dogs and cats.
🍬 Sugar-free candy and gum may contain xylitol, which is extremely dangerous for dogs.
⚠️ Swallowed candy wrappers can cause intestinal blockages.

Keep candy in a closed cabinet, remind little ones not to share, and give your furry friend a pet-safe treat instead! 🧡

If your pet gets into candy, call our clinic right away at (904) 268-8880—even if they seem fine. Save the packaging to help our team assess the risk.

Ferrets hold a special place in Dr. Jones’s heart—she has two of her own! She knows just how much personality these little patients have and loves helping care for them. 🦦💕

🐾 An Important Schedule Update

To our Mandarin Veterinary Clinic family:

As many of you know, Dr. Jones is out of the office on Wednesdays and every other Saturday. Over the past year, we’ve been fortunate to have staff available during those times to answer calls and assist with patient needs.

As we adjust our schedule and operations, staff will no longer be available on Wednesdays or on the alternating Saturdays when Dr. Jones is away. Please keep this change in mind when planning appointments, prescription refills, and other requests for your pets.

☎️ If your pet experiences a medical emergency, please call our main office number and follow the prompts for assistance.

Our commitment to compassionate care and excellent service remains the same. Thank you for your understanding, continued support, and trust. It is a privilege to care for your pets! 💙🐾
