Astro came in today experiencing some allergy issues and saw Dr. Crosby and our awesome technician, Angel. Shout out to Angel for the cutest picture. Allergies are extremely common in not only Florida, but in a lot of southern states in the US. Itchy skin, flakes in the fur, redness, we see it all and we're happy to help. Everyone say hello to the handsome Oliver, a Scottish Terrier with the most adorable ears around! 🐶✨

Oliver visited Dr. Hansen and Christina today for a skin problem. Skin issues are one of the most common reasons pets visit the vet.

Signs your pet may be experiencing a skin problem include:
🔹 Excessive scratching or licking
🔹 Red, irritated, or inflamed skin
🔹 Hair loss or thinning coat
🔹 Odor, scabs, or hot spots

If you notice any of these symptoms, it's important to have your pet examined so we can determine the cause and help keep them comfortable.

💕 Pet of the Day: Josie! 💕

This sweet Terrier Mix visited Dr. Hansen and Angel today for her yearly wellness exam and to receive her "big girl" vaccines. Josie was incredibly brave throughout her visit and was a splendid patient from start to finish! Not only did she ace her exam, but she was more than happy to strike a pose for her photo afterward. Just look at that adorable face and those bright eyes!

Way to go, Josie! We're so proud of you!🐾
