Did you know we can tailor-make your dream horse? 🐎✨

At Wasatch Lusitanos, we breed and train our own Lusitanos with the utmost care and dedication. But we believe the perfect partnership goes beyond simply choosing a horse — it’s about developing the horse with you and for you.

That’s why we’ve opened the possibility for our clients to purchase one of our Lusitanos and leave them with our expert professionals for additional, personalised training.

Whether you’re looking for a horse to develop your skills, compete with, or simply build a special partnership with, we can tailor the training journey to your goals and needs.

In this Reel, Sheryl Prucka, founder of WL, explains how the process works.

🎥 Watch to discover how we can help you create your perfect partnership with a Wasatch Lusitano.

Did you know? Mistral (1st photo), one of our top stallions at Wasatch Lusitanos, has an incredible pedigree!

Sired by Pioneiro MAC (Assunção Coimbra ), Mistral is a half-brother to the Working Equitation World Champion Morante SS and a full brother to Isco SS, a renowned Lusitano stallion competing and winning in both Dressage and Working Equitation in Portugal. 🇵🇹🏆

With this kind of pedigree, and Wasatch Lusitano’s careful upbringing and training, it’s no wonder Mistral’s progeny is not only distinguished but can also do anything! ✨

Which one is your favorite?

Did you know that all the individual podium horses at the Working Equitation World Championship were Lusitanos—with strong bloodline connections to our horses at Wasatch? 🇵🇹🏆

You may recognise this incredible horse from yesterday’s post: Istambul SS, ridden by Bruno Pica Conceição , brought home another gold medal as part of the victorious Portuguese team!

Istambul SS is also the sire of Santarém WL, our 2024 Champion of Champions at US Lusitano Association breed competitions in WEC , Ocala.

Quality, type, and rideability truly run in the genes.

Congratulations to the Lusitano breed for once again shining at the highest level of Working Equitation!

Taking advantage of the last hours of the weekend?

Tormento WL sure knew how to play and show himself when given some well-deserved time off in the arena. ✨

What are you doing this Sunday?

Our stables and riding arena are usually buzzing with activity—lunging, groundwork, training, and horses happily being ridden.

But we also treasure those quieter moments out in the fields, roaming Wasatch’s luxurious landscapes, checking our pastures and spending time with the grazing herds.

There’s something special about slowing down, breathing in the open air, and simply enjoying our horses in their natural surroundings. 🌿🐴

There is an old saying that you should never start judging a horse by looking into its eyes.
But what can one do when a Lusitano has such depth in its gaze? Intelligence, kindness, and something difficult to put into words.

Santarém WL is no exception. And his exceptional character goes far beyond what his eyes reveal—and what ours can perceive. Wouldn’t you agree? ✨
