Morning strolls 🌿 ➡️ Toy patrol 🦴 ➡️ Belly rubs 💕 ➡️ Power naps 😴 ➡️ Repeat.

Louie has mastered the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, proving that life is best enjoyed one walk, one cuddle, and one nap at a time. Watching this sweet guy soak up every moment is exactly why we love what we do. ❤️

We care for a lot of cats throughout the year, but it's not every day we get the privilege of caring for Sphynx cats like these three!

At first glance, most people notice what they don't have fur. But Sphynx cats are much more than just "hairless cats."

Here are a few fun facts about this unique breed:

🐱 They're not actually completely hairless. Most Sphynx cats have a very fine, peach-fuzz coat that feels a bit like warm suede.

🌡️ They're little heat seekers. Without a thick coat, they love warm blankets, sunny windows, heated beds, and curling up with their favorite humans whenever possible.

🛁 They need baths! Since they don't have fur to absorb their skin's natural oils, regular baths help keep their skin healthy. Their ears also need routine cleaning because they produce more wax than many other breeds.

❤️ They're incredibly social. Sphynx cats are known for being affectionate, curious, and outgoing. Many are described as being ""dog-like"" because they love following their people from room to room and being involved in everything that's happening.

🍽️ They have big appetites. Staying warm takes energy, so many Sphynx cats have faster metabolisms than their furry counterparts and often enjoy a hearty meal.

During our visits, these three kept us entertained with their playful personalities, curious inspections of the kitchen counters, cozy naps, and those unforgettable expressive faces. Every one of them has a completely different personality, but they all have one thing in common they absolutely love attention.

One of the best parts of being professional pet sitters is getting to learn about so many different breeds and the unique care each one needs. Every pet teaches us something new, and that's one of the reasons we love what we do.

Every pet sitter has those unforgettable clients: the ones who leave paw prints on your heart long before they leave paw prints on the floor🐾

Shunka and Sucy are exactly that. We've had the privilege of caring for these two for many years, watching a little more sugar settle on their sweet faces with each passing season. But if you think age has slowed them down, one look at those impish grins says otherwise.

They're still full of personality, still experts at winning hearts, and still greet us like we've been away forever. It's a reminder that while time may frost a muzzle, it never dims a joyful spirit.

Mocha wasted absolutely no time making an impression. 🐾💕 The moment she spotted the pet sitter, she delivered what may have been the cutest little look ever recorded: those big soulful eyes, that sweet expression, and just the tiniest hint of a smile. 🥹✨

It was game over from the start. Before a leash was clipped or a toy was tossed, Mocha had already secured VIP status and wrapped the pet sitter completely around her paw.

The only way to fully appreciate your personal screened-in porch is from on high. ☀️🐱 Godiva has clearly figured this out.

While the rest of us enjoy a porch from ground level, she prefers the executive suite halfway up her cat tower, where the views are better and the breezes seem just a little sweeter.

She keeps watch over her kingdom: monitoring birds, inspecting backyard activity, and making sure everything is running according to feline standards.

Onyx has once again discovered the world's most perfect patch of grass. During what started as a perfectly normal walk, she suddenly deployed her signature move: stop, drop, and roll. No warning. No discussion. Just a firm commitment to fully appreciating nature from the most comfortable position possible:: upside down. 😂

🐾 While her pet sitter was busy wondering what happened to the walk, Onyx was clearly focused on the important work of lawn quality control. After a thorough inspection (and a few blissful wiggles), she was ready to continue as if nothing unusual had happened. Some dogs chase squirrels; Onyx chases the perfect grassy moment. 🌱💚

🐱 Happy International Cat Day! 🐱

Today we're celebrating the wonderful cats who have trusted us to care for them over the years, and the families who share them with us.

One thing we've learned from caring for hundreds of cats is that no two are alike.

Some greet us at the door demanding breakfast and attention.

Some supervise every task we do from a safe distance.

Some insist on showing us their favorite toy. Others act as if we've committed a personal offense simply by existing in their home.

And honestly? We love every one of them.

Cats have a reputation for being independent, but anyone who has truly gotten to know a cat understands how deeply connected they are to their people, their routines, and their environments.

Here are a few fun cat facts:

🐾 Cats spend about 12–16 hours a day sleeping.

🐾 A slow blink is often a sign of trust and affection.

🐾 Every cat's nose print is unique: just like a human fingerprint.

🐾 Cats use their whiskers to help navigate the world around them.

🐾 Many cats prefer routine and can become stressed when their environment changes.

As professional pet sitters, one of our favorite things is earning a cat's trust. Sometimes it happens on the first visit. Sometimes it takes weeks of quiet patience, sitting on the floor, and letting them decide when they're ready to say hello.

When that shy cat finally rubs against your leg, accepts a treat, or curls up beside you, it feels like you've been given a very special gift.

Today we're celebrating all of the curious, quirky, cuddly, mischievous, and completely unique cats who make our days brighter.
