Fun facts Friday!

We’re still seeing an increase in positive rabies testing in our surrounding areas. Adams, York, Carroll county all have had multiple positive cases. Rabies is PREVENTABLE by abiding by the Pennsylvania state law and vaccinating your dogs and cats even if they live indoors only. If you have been bitten by wildlife please seek medical attention immediately and contact animal control.

Summer is coming to an end and school is back in session but one thing that’s still here is those pesky flea and ticks. It’s been a rough summer dealing with these nasty critters and we don’t expect a break until maybe November when temperatures consistently stay low.

Don’t forget with your year’s purchase of flea and tick prevention you can select a free pet odor candle or dog toy. Just tell the receptionist while getting you checked out which option you want!
