Many of the heartworm preventatives, flea/tick products, and vaccines we use at Gahanna Animal Hospital come with manufacturer guarantees when purchased directly through our hospital.

That means in the rare event your pet tests positive for something the product is designed to prevent, such as Heartworm Disease, Lyme Disease, Parvo, and more, the manufacturer may help cover treatment costs.

While preventatives and vaccines are extremely effective, no product is 100% foolproof. Even the most dedicated pet owners can experience an unexpected breakthrough, which is why these guarantees can provide extra peace of mind.

Most manufacturer guarantees require:
✔️ Preventatives to be given consistently as directed
✔️ Vaccines and recommended testing to stay up to date
✔️ Products to be purchased directly through your veterinarian

Today is World Veterinary Day, and we’re celebrating the veterinarians at Gahanna Animal Hospital.

Our vets get to be part of so many meaningful moments from first visits to big recoveries, and all the little wins in between.

They’ve come to know and love not just the pets they care for, but the people who love them.

One of the things that makes our team so special is the collaboration behind the scenes. With a large group of doctors, they’re able to share knowledge and talk through cases, helping ensure every pet receives the best possible care.

We’re incredibly grateful for the care, heart, and dedication they bring to every patient, and we’re really lucky to have each and every one of them.

Gahanna Animal Hospital will close at 1:00 PM today and will be closed tomorrow in observance of the holidays.

We will also be closing at 1:00 PM on New Year’s Eve and closed all day New Year’s Day.
