Fun Fact Friday: Your domesticated house cat shares about 95.6% of its DNA with tigers, as they share a common ancestor from roughly 10.8 million years ago. This fact may be hard to believe because of the personality differences (depending on the cat😂) and size variance, but they have the same genetic blueprint and hunting instincts.🐈🐅 One thing for certain—Norah can't be bothered to even try and help support this claim, and is very much so enjoying the posh lifestyle she gets to live compared to her ancestors. 😂

Henry has been undergoing treatment for diffuse large B cell lymphoma. His family elected to treat with a new protocol combining CHOP chemotherapy with our Oncology team and half-body radiation therapy with our friends at Veterinary Referral Associates. Henry has been a trooper through all of his treatments and has even managed to squeeze in some extra special trips with his family over the last few months. While he would rather be howling at the sunset from the captain's chair than spending time in our chemotherapy room, the finish line is in sight for this brave boy. Keep up the good work Henry!

⚠️ Important Update to Our Emergency Hours ⚠️

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but due to the ongoing nationwide shortage of emergency veterinarians, we must adjust our hours for tomorrow.

Saturday, August 15th, we will be closed to incoming cases from 6am - 2pm and will resume seeing cases as usual at 2pm.

We understand how stressful it can be when your pet needs urgent care, and we are truly sorry for the disruption. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue working hard to provide the best possible care during these staffing challenges.
