INTERNAL MEDICINE SPOTLIGHT: Congratulations to Dr. Mary Lester, DVM, DACVIM, Nikita Kakar Khanna, DVM, DACVIM, and our entire Internal Medicine team at Partner’s Frederick hospital for performing the first Mictamid® procedures in the state of Maryland.

Primarily used in female dogs to manage urinary incontinence, including urethral sphincter mechanism incompetence (USMI), Partner is now incorporating Mictamid® as a long-lasting alternative to medical management. This condition can have a profound impact on the human-canine bond as well as the quality of life for the dog and the family who loves them.

Pups Magnolia, Ollie, and Mango are all dry (continent) at their first follow-up, and their families are thrilled with the results.
