We honor and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

If your pet needs care before the holiday, please contact us in advance to refill medications or schedule appointments.

Keep your pet safe with these tips:
• Keep pets away from grills and hot surfaces
• Avoid sharing table scraps, especially fatty foods and bones
• Keep pets indoors and secure during fireworks
• Provide plenty of fresh water and shade

A little extra caution goes a long way in keeping your pets happy and safe all weekend long!

Dog Anxiety Awareness Week 🐶🐾

Humans aren’t the only ones affected by anxiety. Anxiety can stem from separation from owners, noise phobias (fireworks/thunder), changes in routine, and past trauma. Common symptoms include destructive behavior, excessive panting, pacing, restlessness, drooling, whining, hiding and excessive barking.

That’s why we’re proud to be a Fear Free clinic.
A Fear Free approach focuses on reducing stress, fear, and anxiety at every step of your pet’s visit. This means:
• Creating a calm, quiet environment
• Using gentle handling techniques tailored to your pet
• Moving at your pet’s pace and watching their body language
• Incorporating positive reinforcement (treats, praise, comfort)
• Recommending pre-visit medications when needed to reduce stress before they even arrive
