Big warm welcome to our new Board & Train, Murphy! 🐾
Murphy is a deaf 1.5-year-old Dogo Argentino who is joining us for our four week Board & Train program. During his time with us, we’ll be working on socialization, confidence building, impulse control, and helping him learn how to better navigate the world around him.
Murphy is an amazing dog in the house, but outside the home, he can be very unpredictable. According to his owners, he can be reactive toward certain people, especially bigger men. Because of his unpredictable behavior around certain people and environments, Murphy’s world has been fairly small, primarily consisting of the house and backyard.
His owners reached out for help because they want to give Murphy the opportunity to expand his world, build confidence, and learn how to better handle the people and environments he encounters. We’ll also be working toward helping him navigate the world alongside his older sister-housemate in the family.
We’re looking forward to helping Murphy build the skills and confidence he needs to experience more of the world with his family. 🐕💪...
