✨ Coco is officially available for adoption! ✨

Our sweet girl was born with a cleft lip and palate, but after evaluation by a specialist, it has been deemed cosmetic only. She’s thriving on dry puppy kibble and doing great!

Coco does have severe separation anxiety, so she will need a home (no apartments) where she won’t be left alone for long periods.

🇺🇸❤️ Happy Fourth of July from Foster Bowie, his foster sister River, and everyone at DFW French Bulldog Rescue! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends and enjoy the holiday safely.

As we head into the evening, please remember that fireworks can be incredibly loud and scary for our pets. Make sure your dogs are safely indoors, and take a moment to double check that their microchip information is current and up to date in case they become frightened and escape.

👀🍼 BREAKING NEWS: We Have Eyes Starting to Open! 🍼👀

Our tiny Frenchie potatoes are hitting another big milestone — their little eyes are slowly starting to open! 🥹❤️

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who has supported this sweet family since day one. Whether you donated financially or sent supplies through our Amazon Wishlist, your generosity has made such a difference.

From diapers and formula to blankets and all the other essentials, every single donation has helped us provide the care these babies and their mama need during these critical first few days of life. 🐾

🚨🐾 EMERGENCY MAMA & PUPPIES NEED YOUR HELP 🐾🚨

On Sunday, we were contacted by a rescue regarding a mama French Bulldog who had been in active labor for nearly 9 hours. X-rays showed she was carrying 8 puppies. She successfully delivered one puppy on her own, but after hours of pushing, mama was exhausted and could no longer continue.

An emergency C-section was the only option, but the owner could not afford the surgery.

With the help of our rescue partners, we were able to step in and help cover the cost of her emergency C-section. Thankfully, this brave mama delivered 2 beautiful girls and 6 handsome boys. ❤️

Despite everything she has been through, this sweet deaf mama has been incredible. She has been nursing, cleaning, and caring for her newborn babies like a champion.

While we are so grateful that mom and puppies are doing well, this unexpected emergency has placed a significant strain on our rescue funds. We are asking for your help to ensure we can continue providing for this family while still being able to say “yes” to the next French Bulldog in need.

Items such as puppy formula, laundry detergent, puppy pads, disinfectant supplies, and postnatal vitamins for mama will go directly toward caring for this little family. We are also always in need of diapers, dog food, dewormer, toys, and kennels for the many foster dogs currently in our care.

DFW French Bulldog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) IRS-registered nonprofit founded in 2023. Our mission is to rescue French Bulldogs and provide the individualized medical care, rehabilitation, and support they deserve. We do not have a facility and rely entirely on dedicated foster homes and compassionate supporters like you.

Foster Enzo got to spend last night soaking up the sunset with his foster family, Frenchie friends, and some of our favorite alumni! 🌅🐾

Alumni Rambo, Frank, and even Hilde stopped by with their families for an evening filled with waves, laughter, and plenty of Frenchie shenanigans. A few of our Frenchie friends even got a little too adventurous and took an unexpected dip in the lake—we’re incredibly thankful for doggy life jackets! 🛟😂

This week brought a lot of emotions, celebrations, and moments of reflection for several of our rescue families. Last night was a welcome chance to slow down, enjoy good company, and appreciate the community that continues to support these dogs every step of the way.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the week. ❤️🌊
