Drawing on doctoral research and executive leadership experience, this advanced-level session examines supervision as a critical driver of psychological safety, burnout prevention, and workforce sustainability. Participants will explore how power, organizational culture, and structural dynamics shape supervision in complex environments. Aligned with the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics (2021), this session provides actionable strategies to strengthen supervisory practice, promote equity, and implement psychologically safe, ethically grounded supervision that supports long-term workforce resilience.
Presented by Natosha Lacour, LCSW, DSW and Denice Green, LISW, DSW, this workshop is one of many unique sessions available at the 2026 Annual Social Work Conference!
