POV: You just found the cozy corner of the internet where small-town charm meets modern luxury. 🕯️🌿🍯

And suddenly, you want to slow down, bake some bread, light a candle, and spend your Saturday wandering through a little neighborhood general store. 🤎

Hey, y’all! We’re A Bushel & A Peck Co. 👋

A family-owned, LGBTQ+ owned small business founded right here in Columbus, Ohio, by two husbands with a big dream: to bring a little more beauty, intention, and community back into everyday living.

We believe in the magic of a freshly baked loaf of bread. The comfort of a beautifully crafted candle. The nostalgia of homemade preserves. The joy of finding something thoughtfully made instead of mass-produced.

From our small-batch, hand-poured coconut apricot wax candles and elevated home fragrances to artisan pantry goods, timeless home décor, and locally made treasures, everything we do is rooted in one simple belief:

The best things in life aren’t rushed. They’re gathered, made with love, and shared.

And now we’re taking that dream one step further. 🏡

📍 COMING SPRING 2027: Our modern general store in Downtown Delaware, Ohio!

A place for local makers, thoughtfully sourced goods, everyday essentials, and a whole lot of heart.

Think old-fashioned general store soul with a fresh, modern point of view.

We’re proud Ohio entrepreneurs building something special, one candle, one customer, and one community connection at a time.

So whether you’re here for the cottagecore vibes, farmhouse finds, clean-burning candles, local shopping, or just cheering on a small family business chasing a really big dream…

There’s a place for you here. And y’all means ALL. 🤎

✨ Follow A Bushel & A Peck Co. and come grow with us.

Thinking back to the more fun market days we had this summer. We try and make the best out of every situation. Sure we lost some product but the laughs we had after the situation were the best.

POV: your farmhouse table looks like this. 🍞🎃

Fresh artisan bread, a jar of pumpkin butter, and the kind of simple fall food that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

We’ve always believed the best things don’t have to be complicated — good bread, small-batch pantry staples, locally made goods, and something delicious to gather around.

This is fall at A Bushel & A Peck Co. 🤎

Save this for your next cozy fall breakfast, brunch, or farmhouse table spread.

Yesterday, we told you where we’re going. Today, we want to tell you a little more about what we’re building. 🌿

A Bushel & A Peck Co. is bringing a modern general store to Downtown Delaware, Ohio — with a grocery-forward focus and a simple philosophy:

Local when it makes sense. Quality always.

Think fresh bread, locally sourced foods, pantry staples, farm goods, thoughtfully chosen grocery, handmade products, home goods, gifting and those special things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.

We want this to feel like the general stores we grew up hearing about — places where you knew the people behind the counter, discovered products made nearby and actually looked forward to stopping in — just reimagined for today.

A little grocery.
A little home.
A little gifting.
A whole lot of Ohio.

And we’re only getting started.
