Saturday morning Pack Walks. There’s just nothing else like it!
Our next Pack Walk is THIS Saturday 4/3 at 10am.

Dogs and humans alike, we need community now more than ever and sometimes it truly does take a village to raise a well mannered and well trained dog.
These walks are structured to set you and your dogs up for success. Whether we’re working on a formal Heel command, reactivity or we just wanna casually walk among new dog friends, there’s space for it all on these walks!

‼️MARCH PACK WALK‼️

It’s time for our second March 2026 Pack Walk. Mark your calendars for:

Saturday March 21st at 10am
Where: 2490 N Powers Frontage Rd. We will meet in the dead end cul de sac next to the trailhead.

This is for anyone and everyone who wants to join and use the opportunity to walk their dogs around other dogs in a controlled and healthy environment. No nose to nose on leash interactions and it isn’t play time, we’re working. 😁
Remember, we are all supportive and understanding that everyone of all skill levels and different stages of their training will be there!
Everyone must also be on leashes for the entire duration of the walk.

Expect to walk between 1.5-2 miles so come prepared! But you’re also more than welcome to stop if you feel your dog (or you) aren’t able to complete the walk for any reason.

So cool! Our friends Jessi and Buster were interviewed about Service Dog education as well as military veteran advocacy. Buster is the coolest around! 🥳

An Air Force veteran says she has been denied service at local businesses because of her service dog, and she hopes sharing her story will help raise awareness.

A little late on posting this photo from our last weekends Pack Walk. It ended up being an impromptu Doberman day, look at all those good doggos! It was warm and beautiful, LOTS of bicycles and dogs on the trail, and all the dogs did fantastic together. 🐶

Our next Pack Walk is this Saturday February 21st at 10am at the Rock Island Trailhead.

This crazy puppy named Coco got her first taste of how AH-MAZING a flirt pole is! Her loving owner is tired of getting chased & heels nipped at when they go outside to play.

So today we introduced this fun game that allows her to express those natural, normal herding behaviors. Now she’s allowed to chase and bite stuff, we remain in control of her energy, and our ankles and clothes stay in tact. Coco thought that was pretty cool!

What a fabulous first Pack Walk we had! It was cold and bitter but all the dogs did AMAZING and we humans had a great time too.

We’re so excited to bring back our Pack Walks! This bi-monthly walk will be a perfect way to reduce winter time boredom while still maintaining your training and socialization with your pups.
With new sights, smells, friends and pack dynamics help keep dogs engaged and focused, and ready for new adventures. Our dogs will learn and rehearse calm, polite behavior around other dogs and people in a structured, productive setting.

❗️When: 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month at 10am (except in January, we will only meet once)

❗️Where: Rock Island Trailhead for a 1.5-2 mile walk on a paved trail. We will be parked in the dead end cul de sac next to the old FH Beerworks entrance.

❗️Who: This is for anyone and everyone who wants to join and use the opportunity to walk & train their dogs around other dogs in a controlled and healthy environment. No nose to nose on-leash interactions as it isn’t play time, we’re working. 😁 invite all your friends and family!

❗️What to expect: bring a 6-foot leash, high value treats, some water, poo bags, a warm jacket & gloves, and a positive attitude! Remember, we are all supportive and understanding that there will be many folks of all skill levels and different stages of their training. All training tools are welcomed and encouraged, but everyone must also stay on their leashes for the entire duration of the walk.
