Well.... We have some things to work on

Our first showing in level 3 and before we even got to bite work we were losing points left and right from the same simple mistake. Those damn floating elbows

This frustration caused me to lose more points in handling and then it was a spiral we couldn't come back from.

While the day was a loss, I was very happy with his performance on the new exercises in level 3. He had a great basket, his unseen retrieve was excellent, and ultimately we would have had a great showing if we had a better day at open field.

This shows me I need to see more fields to get him to be proficient everywhere he goes in case we have a bad open field day

We will be coming back for regionals and we will certainly have a better outcome

Exposure is critical! We aren't always going to be in a comfortable environment and communication is key!

Notice I escalated my voice only when he wasn't able to succeed. Yes. I demand from my dogs and that leadership helps them be successful even when things are stressful.
