🚨THIS IS A PSA THAT Ryan Moore STEALS FROM CHARITIES! 🚨
We want to extend our apologies to our supporters that made a purchase from our silent auction at our 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The money you spent and thought was going to support our cause, is sitting in Ryan’s bank account. He refuses to give us our money and has stopped responding to messages.
Too long to read, but if you’ve got time today (because we do), here’s the story….
We began planning this tournament in December of 2025, which is also when we made a connection with A-Town Authentics and had been in communication with them about doing a silent auction at our tournament. We had verbal and written agreement with them.
In January of 2026 Ryan sent us a FB message from his personal account (screenshots in comments) saying that he could do a silent auction for us. Our response was that we already had one planned. We asked if he wanted to contribute an item to ours? He said he had some cool sports pieces that he could contribute to fill some space. We told him that would be amazing. He said he would pencil us in.
We never heard from him again, aside from him responding to a story on August 8th saying that he would see us there.
At no point during this interaction or up until the golf tournament on August 17th, did he mention a company name, give us contact information, give us an agreement, and never had conversations about percentages or setting up at our tournament.
We never reached back out to him, 1. Because we already had an agreement with A-town Authentics and 2. Because we thought he was just some guy wanting to donate personally to our already planned silent auction, which we mentioned to him.
Ryan states that he met Tasha at another golf tournament on July 23rd. At this tournament one of our supporters and donors, The Reliant Roofing, had a tent and allowed us to setup a table alongside so that we could raise awareness and get golfers to signup for our tournament. After we broke down our tent we walked around the course talking to golfers and passing our tournament flyers to people that didn’t get an opportunity to stop by our tent. While Tasha was talking to other golfers, our supporter was at the silent auction table talking to Ryan. He then called Tasha over to the table to introduce her to him. Tasha informed our supporter that we already had a silent auction setup for our tournament (the one with A-town Authentics) but didn’t want to be rude and walked over to say hey. Upon the introduction no company names were introduced and all he said was, “I think you guys might already be on our calendar for August”. All Tasha said was “oh ok, that’s great”, now confused if that was a rep from A-town or not. (Again, he already knew from the messages in January that we already had a silent auction setup)
At 6am on August 17th, we were in communication with our rep from A-town Authentics stating she was running a little bit behind and would not be there in time for golfer registration at 8am.
Around 8am a man that introduced himself as Bird, said he was here to setup the silent auction. Then the confusion ensued. Our volunteer that setup the silent auction with A-town Authentics began calling our rep and trying to figure out who Bird was because we thought our rep was going to be late. She didn’t know who he was, so we asked Bird who he was with and he informed us he was with Ryan Moore and Moore Productions. We told him we had no clue who that was and Bird showed us his phone where got a text message on Friday from Ryan, stating “hey I might have an event for you on Monday” and sent him a picture of our orange informational flyer (the one that only has our rescue information that we hand out at adoption events) not our golf tournament flyer. So basically sent his “employee” to come steal the auction.
At this point we had no clue how he found out about the golf tournament other than maybe getting our flyer from an event and seeing the information on our website. (It had not clicked yet that this was the guy from the facebook message in January)
Our rep from A-town chose to just let Bird stay and do the auction and not come at all.
Bird was amazing and did a great job! He was so kind and supportive. He however had no information regarding the business side of things and informed us to just get with Ryan on sharing the spreadsheet of items sold and getting us our money.
A week after the event, we had to track down his phone number so we could contact him in regards to the funds raised and how we could get those and the spreadsheet to us.
Once we got in contact with Ryan we let him know that what occurred on the morning of the tournament is NOT how we conduct business. What he did was wrong and we will be using A-town Authentics next year and every year after. He then mentioned the facebook message, which we had to search and find, because it was from 8 months prior with no communication from then until now.
We asked him the name of his company. He said “Moore productions, I work through Heritage Charity Auctions and Awards in cumming”
So it has now been almost a month since speaking with Ryan on the phone, for the first time ever, we still have not received funds. We had to ask for the spreadsheet multiple times over this time period, only to have finally received it this morning.
The spreadsheet shows that we will only be getting $315 while he makes of over $1200.
We asked him about how we will be receiving our funds. He mentioned our check was already sent in the mail. We asked him where he sent it to because he never asked us for an address to mail a check. He then said “oh those were other charities that got checks sent out, not yours. I’ll be at an event in Roswell if you want to come pick it up”. We told him we’re over 40 minutes away and we shouldn’t have to make that drive to pick up a check that should have been given to us weeks ago. He needs to drop it off or use one of our 5 other methods on our website to get us our money.
We then asked for him to explain the breakdown of the spreadsheet and why his percentage was so high. To which he never replied.
We reached out to Heritage CAA and explained the situation with their employee. The owner of the company came to the phone and informed us that he is not an employee of theirs, nor has he ever been. He is simply a customer that purchases from them.
Ryan Moore does not have a business page or website. We’ve only found his LinkedIn, which also states that he works for Heritage CAA for the last 11 years. (Which we now know not to be true)
It’s now beyond the point of getting us our $315. It’s the principle of the entire situation.
1. Who reaches out about doing an event and never introduces their company?
2. After being told another company is already doing the event, you still proceed to show up anyway.
3. You believe you “booked” our event, but never had any communication with the organizers for 8 months? No contract. No confirmation. No discussion of terms. Nothing?
4. Then, after the event, you hold onto the money raised and stop responding when the charity asks where its funds are?
If you’ve actually made it this far… congratulations. We know this was basically the Lord of the Rings extended edition of Facebook posts, but there was a LOT to unpack.
And Ryan, if you’re reading this: you’ve had nearly a month to make this right. You’ve had plenty of opportunities to communicate, explain the numbers, and get the funds to us.
Instead, we got silence and excuses.
So consider this your official PSA: if you’re a charity or organization considering working with Ryan Moore and Moore Productions, do your homework, get everything in writing, and make damn sure you know exactly who you’re doing business with and where your money is going.
Because apparently “we’ll figure it out later” is one hell of a business model.
We could have kept this between us. Instead, we decided other charities and organizations deserve the opportunity to make an informed decision before putting their event, their donors, and their money in his hands.
