⚠️ Event Update: Cancellation Due to Weather

Unfortunately, due to expected thunderstorms, we have made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s Earth Day Event at Grapes & Ladders.

The safety of our parrots, volunteers, and guests always comes first.

We were really looking forward to seeing everyone and sharing these amazing birds with you, and we appreciate your understanding. We’ll be working on rescheduling and will share updates as soon as we can.

Our flock will be celebrating this Earth Day at Grapes and Ladders !

Come Grapes and Ladderset some of our feathered friends and to hear all there is to know about these wonderful creatures. You can also get involved by sponsoring not only the Aviary itself, but each individual bird as well!

Other green-thumbed activities will include gardening advice, Earth Day insights, shopping, live music, and delicious wine tasting!

🌍🦜 Meet the parrots of The Georgia Aviary this Earth Day!

We're thrilled to be joining Grapes and Ladders Vineyards & Winery for their Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 25th from 1–4 PM — and we're bringing a few feathered ambassadors along with us!

Stop by our table to meet some of our rescued parrots up close, hear their stories, and learn about the remarkable lives of psittacines — some of the most intelligent, charismatic, and unfortunately most threatened birds on the planet. Our team will be on hand to talk about the rescue and sanctuary work we do right here in Georgia, how you can support our flock, and what makes parrots such extraordinary companions and conservation ambassadors.

And there's plenty more to enjoy: gardening advice from a Master Gardener, Earth Day insights, shopping, live music by Eric Henderson, and of course — delicious wine tastings. It's the perfect afternoon to connect with nature, your community, and a parrot or two.

Bring the family, bring a friend, and come say hello. We can't wait to see you there! 🌱
