Chicago has spent the last six months with Tiny Paws, and what a transformation it has been. He came to us after years of living outside as a stud dog, but today, he is thriving, healthy, and finally ready to find his forever family. ๐Ÿก

His journey to health wasnโ€™t easy. Weโ€™ve managed extensive heartworm treatment, followed by surgery for his nares and soft palate to help him breathe comfortably. Providing this level of care is our mission, but it comes with significant costsโ€”from specialized vet appointments an hour away to daily nutrition and medications.

We are so close to covering his medical bills, but we still have $480 remaining to fully fund his recent surgery. We are also working to close the gap from his heartworm treatment costs, so anything we receive above that amount will go towards that.

Kiki is an adorable 9-pound Maltese mix estimated to be 3-4 years old. She came to us from a local animal shelter after she was found matted and underweight. She was a little nervous at the groomer so her true personality doesnโ€™t shine in this picture but she is such a happy girl and her tail is wagging most of the time. Sheโ€™s the type of dog that as soon as you look in her direction, she starts wagging her tail at you. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Kiki is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. She is happy to zoom around the backyard, or play with her toys one minute, then curl up in your lap for snuggles the next. This sweet girl loves attention, gives the best little kisses, and has a funny, lovable personality that keeps her foster mom smiling. Kiki enjoys car rides and loves to look out the window watching the world go by. She has great energy without being overwhelming and would fit well with someone looking for a companion who can keep up with playtime but also happily settle in for a relaxing evening at home.

Cora is a 7-pound Yorkie mix. We think she looks like she is a Yorkshire Terrier / Dachshund mix, aka Dorkie. She is estimated to be around 5 years old. She came to us after being surrendered to a local animal shelter.

Cora is the perfect blend of a calm and loving. From the moment you meet her, she is sweet and friendly. She warms up instantly to new people and is always ready to make a new best friend. This little lady is the perfect-sized lap dog which is great because she loves being in her personโ€™s lap soaking up all the love and attention youโ€™re willing to give. Chicago is having surgery now to help him breathe better and to live his best quality of life! Will you please help contribute to the cost by helping us raise $700? ๐Ÿ™

We have had Chicago for about six months so he could undergo heartworm treatment and then this procedure. An adoption fee will not cover all of this so we would love your help so we can continue to give the best quality of care to each animal that we take in! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Owen is now ready for his forever home! This sweet Miniature Poodle is estimated to be around a year old and he currently weighs 10 pounds.

Owen is still very much a puppy at heart. Playful, curious, and always ready for love and attention. Owen gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, but he also really loves being close to his person. Like many young pups, Owen will need a patient family committer to help him with proper house training and continue teaching him the basics. With consistency, love, and a little structure, we know he will blossom into an incredible little companion. ๐Ÿงก

Owen has already proven heโ€™s resilient, now he just needs a forever home to show him what love truly feels like.

Chicago is a handsome 5-year-old, 26-pound French Bulldog with a big personality! This sweet boy spent the early part of his life being used as a stud dog and once he was no longer โ€œneeded,โ€ he was given away.

Because Chicago previously lived outdoors and was never kept on heartworm prevention, he did test positive for heartworms. The good news is that he is currently undergoing treatment and is on the road to recovery with the care he should have always had. He will receive his final treatments in two weeks. We are hoping to go ahead and find his forever home so he can rest there while he is recovering. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Chicago is an incredibly happy, funny, and curious little guy. He still has some puppy-like playfulness and loves to romp around the yard as long as his person is near. When playtime is over, Chicago is also a snuggly little guy. Heโ€™s affectionate, loves curling up beside you, and is happiest when heโ€™s close to his personโ€”in their lap if possible! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Chicago is ready for the chapter where he is loved and treated like family. Heโ€™s looking for a home where he can soak up attention, enjoy playtime, and finally live the life every dog deserves!

This handsome little guy is a 2-year-old mixed breed cutie (see his Embark results in photos). He weighs about 15 pounds. Preston came from a hoarding situation that landed him in a county shelter where he was at high risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, Tiny Paws was able to step up and give this boy a second chance! โค๏ธ

Preston has totally opened up and let his big personality shine since being in his foster home. He would love to have a forever home to call his own! He needs a home with a fenced yard where he can safely run and play, and ideally a dog friend around his size or larger than him that can continue to show him the ropes of the sweet life! He enjoys playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home, but also loves playing with toys, even by himself! He will toss a toy up in the air and entertain himself. When he is done playing, he likes to curl up on the couch for a nap.

Sydney is a 2-year-old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix (AKA Malshi) weighing in at 12 pounds. Sydney was surrendered by her previous family because the children in the home were โ€œbored of her.โ€ She is now ready for a fresh start with a family who will love and care for her forever.

This little lady has a gentle, loving personality and loves being close to her person. Sydney is friendly and happy with new people. Sheโ€™s curious about her surroundings when she is out and about with her foster mom. She has a bit of separation anxiety and her crate is her safe space when her person is away. She settles in nicely and patiently waits for your return. Sydney does well with the foster dogs in her home, but she would also be perfectly happy as an only dog where she can soak up all the attention and be the center of someoneโ€™s world. Sydney is always down for snuggling on the couch, tagging along on errands, and being your constant sidekick.

Sheโ€™s ready for a stable, loving home where sheโ€™ll never have to wonder what comes next again. ๐Ÿ’—

Last week we welcomed a severely underweight Miniature Poodle into our care. Weโ€™ve named him Owen. โค๏ธ

This sweet boy was found in a retention pond area near a local Costco, where a security guard shared he had been for several days. He weighs just 7 pounds when he should actually be at least 12 pounds. He is understandably weak and in need of extra support.

Owen has a long road ahead. Heโ€™ll need time to safely gain weight, rebuild his strength, and receive ongoing veterinary care. In addition to specialized nutrition and monitoring, he will be neutered and receive a dental cleaning once ready to safely go under anesthesia.

We are fully committed to giving Owen the care and stability he deserves and we would truly appreciate your support.
