We are always excited when we receive a happy tails update!

The adoptive family that brought home Ferdinand earlier this year decided that he needed a friend, and back came in and adopted Buzz!

Buzz came to FVHA as a surrender due to landlord breed restrictions, and was eager to start his next chapter.

They have reported that the boys are getting along great!

Spice up your life with Cinnamon!

Cinnamon has been waiting for an adopter since June, she recently went into a foster home which has given us the opportunity to get to know her better!

๐Ÿ6 year old spayed Hound mix.
๐ŸLoves sniffing, long walks, and adventuring!
๐ŸShe is a social butterfly and has done well with the other dogs in the home as well as every human she has met! A super sweet girl.
๐Ÿ Housebreaking and crate training are still in progress, has done well left alone confined to a room.

After some big life changes to his home and family Domino had to be surrendered. We have included some photos of him thriving in his previous home, where his real personality was able to shine.

In the shelter Domino really only wants to hide under his bench, and its breaking our hearts!

Has life been dull lately? In search of a spark? Look no further than Mr. Sparky!

This large (90lb) mastiff mix came to us as a local surrender, a recent move and lifestyle change left him with much less room to burn excess energy.

โšกPlayful, enthusiastic young dog that loves to engage with people as well as explore the world around him!
โšก Sparky previously thrived on open acreage where he had space to roam, run, and stretch his legs. Being a large, active boy, he needs a home that can match his exercise needs and give him plenty of physical and mental stimulation.
โšกHas lived with dogs and enjoyed playing hard, a playmate that can match his energy would be ideal.

Looking to adopt a rat? Fyodor and Nikolai are cute, curious, and seeking a home!

These two are looking for either ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž homes or a family that is happy to have two separate set ups. While they came from the same home, they are not friends.

๐Ÿ€ 1 year old male fancy rats.
๐Ÿ€ While not social with other rats, they are comfortable for human handling.

Kitten season is still going strong, and we are in need of scales!

Our fosters need to weigh their foster kittens regularly to ensure they are gaining weight at an appropriate rate.

It can also help fosters catch potential issues before other symptoms develop so that we are able to provide support to kittens more quickly.
