Fox Valley Humane Association Stray Pets Stray pets are held according to WI Law for four days, giving the owner the opportunity to reclaim. If you find a lost pet:

2. Call FVHA at 920-733-1717 to file a Found Pet Report or bring the animal to FVHA.
3. Post the found pet online on Lost Dogs of Wisconsin or Lost Cats of Wisconsin and Craigslist.
4. Create posters and hang them where you found the pet.
5. Talk to people

in the area to see if someone recognizes the pet. Stray pets are held at FVHA for the state-mandated 4 day stray hold. If no owner comes forward during that time, the pet is evaluated for health and behavior before it is placed up for adoption. Contact your local law enforcement agency to report it.
2. Fill out FVHA's Lost Dog Report or Lost Cat Report online or by phone at 920-733-1717. You may also want to contact surrounding county animal shelters, as pets may travel out of the area.
3. Post your missing pet online on Lost Dogs of Wisconsin or Lost Cats of Wisconsin and Craigslist.
4. Create posters and hang them where your pet was lost.
5. Talk to people in the area. The animals posted on this page may not be available for adoption, so please visit our website at http://foxvalleypets.org/Adoption/View_Adoptable_Pets.aspx to view our adoptable pets.
