If your cat is having trouble urinating, it can quickly become a life-threatening emergency—especially in male cats. What may seem minor can get serious fast.

Signs to watch for:
• Frequent trips to the litterbox
• Straining or posturing without producing urine
• Crying or signs of discomfort
• Only small drops of urine (or none at all)
• Licking at the ge***al area
• Acting lethargic or not like themselves

Without treatment, toxins build up and the bladder can become dangerously full.

If you notice any of these signs, don’t wait—seek urgent care right away. Acting quickly can save their life 💙
