In April, UVS hosted our Spring ER Survivor Reunion! The event celebrated four extraordinary patients who had recovered from critical illnesses. The luncheon gave our staff and their families the chance to reunite in a joyful setting, share their inspiring success stories, and celebrate their recoveries.

Our survivors and their families were celebrated with a catered lunch and cake. Families received a survivor gift bag with a custom bandana and a personalized wood-burned trinket box.

We were honored to celebrate these patients for their strength and resilience and to give thanks to our incredible care team. It was a delight to welcome them back with smiling faces.

Meet Tomo! 🐾

Tomo is currently receiving extracorporeal shock wave therapy as part of his treatment plan for right forelimb lameness. This non-invasive therapy is designed to help reduce discomfort and support improved mobility over time. While he receives his treatment, Tomo is resting comfortably and staying relaxed throughout the process.

His care will continue over the course of a few treatments as we work to keep him as comfortable and active as possible. 💙

Double the celebration at rehab 🎉

Maple and Cali have officially graduated from underwater treadmill exercises following their TPLO surgeries to address hind limb ACL injuries. They’ve both worked incredibly hard, and it shows!

Great job, Maple and Cali-we’re hopeful they’ll be back to full activity very soon 💙🐾
