We’re delighted to introduce Marleen, who’s been busy performing orthopaedic surgeries to help get our four-legged friends back on their paws! 🐶💚

We’re pleased to offer our all-inclusive TPLO package for £3,750, helping you know exactly what’s included in your pet’s surgical care.

The package includes:
🐾 Pre-operative X-rays, where repeat imaging is required for surgical planning
🐾 Post-operative X-rays
🐾 Post-operative medication
🐾 Buster collar

What if both cruciate ligaments are affected?

For bilateral cases, the total package price is £6,500, with each leg operated on separately.

If your dog ruptures their second cruciate ligament within one year, we also offer a price promise of £2,750 for the second-leg surgery.

K-Laser therapy is available during post-operative nurse appointments for just £20, as an additional option to support your pet’s recovery. ✨💚

🍂🐾 AUTUMN IS HERE!🐶🐱

As the leaves fall and the weather gets colder, autumn brings some seasonal hazards for our beloved pets. Here are a few simple ways to keep your four-legged family members happy and healthy this season! 💖

🍄 Watch out for fungi! Keep curious noses away from unknown mushrooms as they can be toxic if eaten.

🍂 Beware of conkers and acorns as these can cause stomach upsets and, if swallowed, potentially dangerous intestinal blockages.

🐾 Stay visible on darker walks, use reflective collars, leads or harnesses and consider a clip-on light to help keep your pet visible.

🧡 Keep them warm and dry! Wet, chilly weather can leave pets uncomfortable. Dry them thoroughly after walks and consider a suitable coat for dogs who feel the cold.

🐾♻️ Turning Pet Food Packaging into Positive Change! ♻️🐾

We're proud to be doing our bit for the environment, one pouch and bag at a time!

In 2024, we introduced a dedicated Mars Pet Food Packaging Recycling Point in our dog waiting room, making it easy for clients to recycle their pet food packaging responsibly.

Thanks to the amazing support of our team and clients, by 2025 we had successfully collected and recycled 15kg of plastic pet food packaging! 🎉

That's 15kg of waste diverted from landfill and given a second life, helping to support a more sustainable, circular waste system. 🌍💚

Every small action adds up, and together we're making a difference for pets, people, and the planet.

🚨 DOG OWNERS PLEASE BE AWARE OF BLUE-GREEN ALGAE 🐾

⚠️ There is currently a confirmed blue-green algae bloom in the River Thames between Sunbury Lock and Teddington Lock, including areas around Ham and Kingston.

Some types of blue-green algae can produce toxins that are potentially harmful to dogs. You cannot reliably tell whether algae is toxic simply by looking at it, so please treat any visible algae or affected water as potentially dangerous.

🐶 Please keep your dog away from:
• Water showing green/blue-green streaks or paint-like deposits
• Algae collecting along the riverbank
• Any areas displaying warning signs
• The affected stretch of the Thames, including near Teddington and Ham

🚨If your dog has come into contact with affected water, contact us immediately, rinse them thoroughly with clean water and prevent them from licking their coat. Symptoms of blue- green algae poisoning include vomiting, diarrhoea, weakness, tremors, difficulty breathing, seizures or collapse.

Please share this post with other local dog owners. It’s better to be overly cautious when it comes to our dogs’ safety. 💚🐾

The other day, we had the pleasure of seeing the gorgeous Indie! 🐾💚

Pictured here is Indie enjoying a very well deserved treat after being the bravest girl! She had a pesky grass seed stuck in her ear, which was understandably very sore, but Indie was an absolute superstar and let our vet, Georgia, remove it without any fuss.

We’re so happy to hear that Indie is feeling much better now! What a brave girl! 💚🐶

We're thrilled to finally share some very exciting news... Vet4life Teddington is moving to a bigger and better clinic! 🏠✨

We're incredibly excited to start this new chapter and can't wait to see what our new, larger clinic will bring for our patients, their families and our amazing team. 🐶😺

Don't worry, you'll still see the same friendly and familiar Vet4life team you know and love, continuing to provide the personal and compassionate care we've always been proud of.
