🐶💚 Big cuddles, a big personality, and one very happy boy… meet Billy! 💚🐾

Billy visited Chelsea Veterinary Surgery this week for his castration procedure, and this lovely boy certainly made his presence known! 🥰

Our wonderful Vet Nora and VCA Vicki took fantastic care of Billy throughout his procedure and recovery. As you can see from the pictures, VCA Vicki simply couldn't resist giving this big, cuddly boy a lovely snuggle while he recovered! ❤️🐶

We were delighted to see Billy back yesterday for his post-operative check, where we were happy to hear and see that he's doing really well! 🩺✨

There's just one little thing Billy is still getting used to… his Buster collar! 😂 With such a big personality, he's still figuring out his new cone's spatial awareness, occasionally bumping into our team's legs as he makes his way around the clinic! We think he might need a little more practice! 🐕💚

Our team absolutely loves having Billy around, and we're so pleased he's recovering well. Keep getting better, Billy, and try not to knock too many of us over with that cone! 🤣💚

🐶🍪 Meet Cookie! 🍪🐾

We had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Cookie to Chelsea Veterinary Surgery for a consultation with our brilliant vet, Daniel, to discuss neutering options. ❤️

Neutering is an important decision for every pet owner, and Daniel was on hand to talk through the options and explain the potential health benefits for Cookie. 🩺🐾

✨ Did you know neutering can offer several health benefits?
🐾 It can prevent testicular cancer in male dogs.
🐾 It can reduce the risk of certain prostate problems.
🐾 It prevents unwanted pregnancies and helps reduce the number of unwanted puppies.
🐾 Depending on the individual dog, it may also help with certain hormone-related behaviours.

Every dog is different, so the decision about whether and when to neuter should always be tailored to their age, breed, health and lifestyle.

A big thank you to Cookie and their family for visiting us! 💙 We’re always happy to help you make informed decisions about your pet’s health and wellbeing.

🐶💚 Meet Bella! 💚🐾

Just look at this adorable puppy! 🥹🐶 Sweet Bella recently came into Chelsea Veterinary Surgery for a consultation with her lovely vet, Nora. 🩺✨

Bella was such a little superstar during her visit, and our team absolutely loved meeting her! 🥰 It’s always extra special welcoming our youngest patients into the clinic and watching them become familiar with their vet team from an early age. 💚🐾

We think Bella has already mastered the art of being completely adorable! 😍🐶

Well done, Bella — we can’t wait to see you again! 🌟💕

✂️🐾 Brunello’s Grooming Day! 🐾💚

We recently welcomed the gorgeous Brunello to Chelsea Veterinary Surgery for a lovely grooming appointment with our talented groomer Lulu! 🥰✨

Lulu worked her magic, giving Brunello a fresh and fabulous groom while making sure he was comfortable and well cared for throughout his appointment. 🛁✂️🐶

And of course, our very own VCA Emily couldn’t resist joining in on the fun! 💕 She had to give Brunello some cuddles and a little playtime while he was with us. 🥰🐾

Brunello certainly enjoyed plenty of love and attention during his visit and was looking extra handsome after his pampering! 😍✨

What a superstar! ⭐🐶

🐾💙 Meet Saphira! 💙🐾

Beautiful Husky Saphira came in for her post-operative check-up and a bandage change after unfortunately having to undergo a tail amputation due to a cancerous lump that had been causing her discomfort.

As Saphira has always been a little sensitive about her tail, Vet Nora and Veterinary Care Assistant Vicki took extra special care to make sure she felt safe, comfortable and reassured throughout her visit. 🥰 They handled her with plenty of patience, love and gentle encouragement — exactly what this gorgeous girl needed. 💕

Of course… Saphira is a Husky. 😂🐺

So when it came time for the bandage change, she decided that a typical Husky escape attempt was absolutely necessary! 🏃‍♀️💨 We’re pleased to report that her dramatic getaway was unsuccessful, and her bandage was changed safely. 😉

Despite everything she has been through, Saphira was such a beautiful, strong girl, and we’re so proud of how well she is doing. ❤️

Wishing you a smooth recovery, Saphira! Keep being your gorgeous, mischievous self — just maybe stay still for those bandage changes! 😂🐾💙
