Another award winner. This might be a first in VDRC history. A horse won one of our annual awards! Please read the barn star description, as well as the lovely nomination we received from for this wonderful pony. Barn Star: awarded to a person (not this year 😉) displaying exceptional enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Consideration to those will be made based on contributions to the Club.

Peachy Keen*Winner
If there was a pony of the year award I would nominate this pony, Peachy Keen. A true barn star in every way. Always took care of her riders, taught lessons like a saint and was a true gem. Taken too soon…but not without leaving a lifetime of memories. Peaches competed for many years at VDRC for her kid Emma Elders and many csp students over the years, including x pole champion in 2025. Peaches was 28 years young.
