Two of our Level 2 doggies getting ready for their graduation photo next week! Proprioception is teaching our dogs to be aware of their body and how limbs can move independently. Walking and standing on different surfaces help develop these skills. Plus it’s fun!!

Look at this beautiful boy learning to negotiate the cones by trusting his mum and following his nose. The improvement is clear and this took just 10 minutes!
Barney doesn’t let his disability hold him back! He’s the most affectionate, sweet boy! We’re still working on the impulse control as he loves to cover visitors with kisses!

Although she was exhausted after her training session!

This gorgeous young Kelpie mix and her guardians had a great session working on loose lead walking, staying calm around other dogs, and learning how to settle.

For active young dogs like Evie, it’s not just about getting enough physical exercise, they also need plenty of mental enrichment. But one of the most important skills they can learn is how to switch off and relax. Young dogs often don’t realise they’re tired, so instead of resting, they can become even more excited. Teaching them to settle helps them cope with everyday life and sets them up for success.

Evie did an amazing job today, and we’re looking forward to seeing her confidence and calmness continue to grow.

Look at this beautiful young Australian Shepherd Kiwi! She did amazing work with loose lead walking, recall and walking past distractions. I can’t wait to see how she progresses through Level 1. ☺️ Great work Kiwi!

5 year old rescue Macey was really struggling with impulse control, over excitement, barking and nipping at visitors and being able to settle. In 3 sessions and consistent calm training from her guardian, Macey has door manners, is calm around visitors and settles nicely in her bed. What a great turnaround for this sweet girl! So proud! 👏👏👏.
