🐾 FULL-TIME GROOMER WANTED — COME JOIN OUR SALON FAMILY! 🐾
We’re looking for a full-time groomer to join our team — and we care just as much about who you are and how you work with people as we do about how you groom dogs.
We’re a small, close-knit team who genuinely enjoy working together. We’ve built a supportive, inclusive workplace where everyone is respected, encouraged and able to be themselves. 🧡
✂️ What we’re looking for
🐩 A confident groomer who can comfortably groom around 8 dogs a day with the support of our bathers. Our groomers aren’t expected to wash and dry their own dogs — our washroom team supports you so you can focus on grooming.
🤝 A genuine team player who communicates openly, has initiative and isn’t afraid to speak up, ask questions or suggest better ways of doing things.
💪 Someone who wants to grow. We offer plenty of opportunities for training and development, whether you’re interested in breed standards, creative grooming, technical skills or simply learning the tips and tricks that make grooming life easier.
🐶 Experience with challenging dogs is a BIG bonus! We particularly value groomers who are interested in learning how to work with anxious, fearful or reactive dogs and helping them become more comfortable in the salon.
🧡 Teamwork matters to us. We believe everyone’s weaknesses can be supported by someone else’s strengths — and everyone’s strengths can help someone else grow. We’d much rather teach, support and develop someone than have everyone struggling alone.
🐕 Our handling approach: We’re fairly muzzle-free and use low-stress handling techniques wherever it’s safe to do so. Safety always comes first, but we believe patience, communication and understanding can make a huge difference to how dogs feel about grooming.
💰 Competitive pay based on experience, skills and the applicable award.
📅 The non-negotiable
Monday–Friday. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
That said, we understand that life happens. Time off is absolutely considered and accommodated where possible.
