Extra Tips! 🐾

• When allowing dogs to sniff for the first time, keep greetings short! 3-5 seconds of sniffing, and then use a ‘let’s go’ cue.

• Meet on neutral ground. Here, we used a local park. It helps keep the dogs relaxed.

• Exercise beforehand! Koa had already been out for a walk before this one, so he was nice and relaxed and calm, not too overwhelmed and full of beans.

• Lastly, keep leads LOOSE! The more tension you add to the situation, the more uncomfortable and trapped the dogs feel.

Mornings on the beach with Cobber 🥹❤️ This little brave soul is doing so so well coping with even busier environments, and his Mum is an absolute training powerhouse, pouring so much time, energy and love into her dogs - and it shows. Saw tons of dogs, had lots of fabulous check-ins, and finishing the day off with a swim. What could be better? 🌊🐾
