Seek K9

Dog trainer specalising in detection dogs

15/09/2026

I’m incredibly proud of this supportive, passionate Seek K9 group who are continually investing in their knowledge, skills and development in conservation dogs.

Over the last 4 days we had the fantastic opportunity to attend an workshop and learn from industry leader Paul Bunker from Chiron K9. It was a great chance to learn, connect, share ideas and gain valuable insight from someone with such extensive experience.

Surrounding yourself with good people who are willing to learn, grow and support each other makes all the difference!

Another fun training day with the Seek K9 detection dog crew in the field.

Every training session, every search, and every find helps build the skills that make conservation detection dogs such valuable partners in protecting wildlife 💚🐾

So lucky to spend the weekend with an amazing group at our conservation detection dog camp!

Bringing together passionate handlers, dogs, and minds all working toward one shared goal: protecting our environment.

It wasn’t just about training, it was about collaboration, learning from each other, and lifting every team to be better. Watching teams grow, problem-solve, and support one another was something special.

Stronger together, for our dogs and for nature 🐾💚

Just wrapped up three days of learning with the incredible . I’m so lucky to have had a working spot learning how to be a better handler for the dogs I work with.

Over the three days we covered:
Play and Motivation
Advanced Markers
Behaviour Modification

I’m looking forward to consolidating everything I learnt over the three days and applying the concepts to training moving forward.

Now it’s time for me to slow down, and stand up while playing with my dog!

Thank you to and for bringing Michael out to Aus 🦘

Thank you to for the incredible venue 🤩

Keen to start training with our new balls from Beefy Gear!

Having two of the same is great for engagement work and for teaching an “out.” We also love supporting Aussie businesses 🤩
