As many of know the recent major storm has left the yard with many hazards most importantly a down major power supply line. This has caused many headaches this week and still needs to be fixed by the municipality.
Whilst we keep many thousands of litres of water in reserve the prolonged power deficit has left us with the inability to pump water. Reaching critical stores last night, within 24 hours notice .of.the.givers quickly and easily mobilised a water truck from Adelaide who are providing disaster relief in the area. This morning they filled up our reservoir and back up tanks.
Thanks to we will be able to affordably make use of a generator over the weekend to pump that water around the yard to get everything back to normal!
Massive thanks to all of the livery committee who have all been working hard this week to problem solve our way through and keep pushing forward with other exciting yard developments!
