🐾 Meet Dancer — 60 Pounds of Cuddle Bug! 🐾

Hi, I’m Dancer! I may be a big boy at 60 pounds, but I’m really just a lap dog at heart! After being found as a stray in Minneapolis, I made my way to Iowa with Hope in January, and I’ve been working hard to become the best boy I can be.

I recently completed a 4-week board and train program and know commands like sit, down, place, shake, and heel. I’m crate trained, walk beautifully on leash, have great recall, am cat-friendly, and love going for car rides. Most of all, I LOVE cuddling on the couch with my people! 🥰

I’m still working on things like counter surfing and occasional demand barking (his way of letting you know you need to get moving, lol), so I’ll need a patient, experienced owner who can provide consistency, daily walks, and time to settle in. I’m dog-neutral and can live with other dogs after a proper introduction, but I am more about people than dogs and would be an awesome only dog.

I’ve come so far, and after being with my foster family for almost a year, I’m ready to find my forever family who will give me the love and stability I deserve . ❤️🐶

Move over, country music stars… there’s a new Dan + Shay in town, and this duo is ready to steal more than just the spotlight! 😍🎤

These two adorable siblings are officially AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION through Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa, and they’re hoping their next big hit is called “Forever Home!” 🏡❤️

🎸 MEET DAN! 🐶💙

At approximately 14 weeks old and 19 lbs., Dan is our goofy, lovable leading man! This possible Shepherd mix has a personality bigger than his paws and isn’t afraid to sing you the song of his people. 😂🎶

Dan loves zooming around the yard, chewing on his favorite treats, and dramatically sprawling across cool floors. He’s smart, eager to learn, and doing well with the dogs and cats in his foster home! He’s still working on his puppy basics and looking for a family ready to help him grow into the amazing big boy he’s destined to be.

🎤 MEET SHAY! 🐶💜

At approximately 14 weeks old and 17 lbs., Shay is our sweet little country sweetheart with just enough sass to keep things interesting! 💕

This possible Shepherd mix might play a little hard to get at first, but once she warms up, she’s all snuggles, kisses, and spunky puppy energy!

Shay loves squeaky toys, treats, couch cuddles, and spending time with her favorite humans. She’s doing fantastic with her puppy manners, learning her basic commands, and getting along with dogs and cats!

Dan and Shay might share a name with one of country music’s favorite duos, but they’re each ready to start their own solo careers… as someone’s forever best friend! 🥹🐾

We have been blessed to be able to help rescue several litters of puppies recently but that has strained our reserves. We currently have 25 puppies from 3 weeks to 14 weeks to feed and care for. The puppies are growing FAST, and so are their appetites and messes! 🐾💕 Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa could use your help stocking up on essentials for our babies as they continue growing and move toward being available for adoption!

The Z Pack is close to being made available. We will except applications to pre-qualify for potential adoption, but the litter will not be available for a couple more weeks. They are possible Lab mix puppies and around 8 lbs each right now. They will likely be large dogs between 65 and 80 lbs when full grown.

🐾💕 WELCOME TO HOPE, SADIE! 💕🐾

Everyone, meet our newest little sweetheart, Sadie! 🐶❤️

Sadie is an adorable 4-month-old female Pit Bull who recently joined the Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa family after being surrendered locally. 🏡🐾

At just 4 months old, Sadie has her whole life ahead of her, and we’re so excited to be part of her journey toward a brighter future! 💗

While we don’t know exactly what her next chapter will look like just yet, we do know one thing for sure — this sweet girl deserves a lifetime of love, stability, and happiness! 🥹❤️

Sadie is settling into rescue life, and we’re looking forward to learning more about her personality as she gets comfortable. From puppy snuggles to playful adventures, we can’t wait to watch this little lady blossom! 🌸🐕

Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, and families find themselves in situations where surrendering a pet is the best option they have. We’re grateful we could be here to give Sadie a soft place to land and a fresh start. ❤️
