We see dehydration cases every single week. And it almost always starts the same way. So tell us, how often are you refilling your pet's water bowl? Drop it in the comments.👇

Sometimes, going above and beyond is simply part of the job. 💚

In the ER, caring for pets also means being there for the people who love them, especially when they’re having a difficult day.

A little extra kindness can go a long way.

Tiny patient, big emergency! 🦜💚

Meet Kiki, a 28-day-old harlequin macaw who came to us after accidentally swallowing the tip of a feeding syringe.

Using a small amount of sevoflurane, our team carefully manipulated the syringe tip from the crop toward the mouth, where it was safely retrieved with hemostats.

Thankfully, the foreign object was successfully removed, and this little one was in good hands. ✨

📍 Please note: Exotic pets are seen at our Jacksonville location only.

Two critical patients. Two completely different emergencies. One team ready to act. 🐾🚨

Dr. Richard D’Amico shares what it looks like when emergency veterinary medicine demands you to be in two places at once.

A rattlesnake bite requiring antivenom. A life-threatening jugular injury after a hog fight. Both arriving at the same time.

In the ER, there’s no script for what walks through the door next. That’s why having an experienced team ready to prioritize, adapt, and act quickly matters.

Just another night in veterinary emergency medicine. 💚

Pets can’t tell us when something hurts, but their behavior often can. 🐾

Sleeping more, skipping meals, avoiding jumps, or becoming unusually quiet may seem small, but changes like these can be signs that something isn’t right.

You know your pet’s normal. If something feels different, pay attention. 💚

This September, we're using our platform to talk about something that matters deeply to us, the mental health of those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

To every veterinary, vet tech, receptionist, and healthcare professional out there: your feelings are valid. Your limits are real. And asking for help is one of the bravest things you can do.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a mental health professional or call 988. You take care of everyone else. Let someone take care of you. 💛

Those who care for others need care, too. 💛
In a hospital, every shift can bring emergencies, difficult decisions, powerful stories, and loss.

Behind every case are professionals who also feel, worry, and carry their experiences beyond the end of the workday.

This Yellow September, Greenlight is reinforcing an essential message: Mental health needs space, listening, and ongoing care.

You don’t have to wait until you reach your limit to ask for help.

Meet Maxie, 3 months old and already stealing every heart in the building. 🐾

She came in not eating, and our team jumped into action immediately; because no one this tiny and this cute is going under the radar on our watch!

She received all the love and care she deserved, and we can't wait to see her grow up strong and healthy.

Here's something every cat owner needs to know: cats are masters at hiding when something is wrong. By the time they show obvious signs, they've often been feeling off for a while. That quiet, withdrawn moment? Never ignore it.

So if your cat seems a little 'off' trust your gut and come see us.

Has your cat ever been treated by our Greenlight team? Drop their photo in the comments, we need to see those faces. 💚
