Quicksilver Integrative Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Are you ready to elevate your pet's mobility & quality of life? She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2005.

Led by rehabilitation and pain management certified and acupuncturist veterinarian Dr. Monique Koll, our goal is to do just that, in our peaceful office or in the comfort of your pet's home! Dr. Monique Koll gained her Bachelors of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries at LSU, along with minors in Microbiology, Zoology and Music Composition. She has practiced medicine for over twenty years, and is actively a resident in canine Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), and Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP). Dr. Koll’s passion is increasing pets’ quality of life and in client education. She loves reading, birdwatching, composing music and Blackbird aircraft.

Ruby Porter CCRP came to Quicksilver this week to hang out, talk shop and collaborate with our team. For those that don’t know, she’s been doing veterinary physical rehabilitation for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience. We genuinely thank her for all her support and encouragement! Poppy is actively extending their hips in this creative, therapeutic exercise that targets the functional problem they are suffering from. Poppy is recovering from a hip surgery called an FHO(Femoral Head Ostectomy). The main benefit from surgery is to decrease pain, but it also limits hip extension. A creative approach to therapeutic exercise allows our patients to have fun and be rewarded for the movements they are struggling with. Keep working hard Poppy!!!

Ghost is engaging his lower core to help build strength and balance in his rear limbs. Physical rehabilitation doesn't’ just make muscles stronger, it helps allow patients to use their bodies more effectively and efficiently. Therapeutic exercises are designed to be rewarding and fun so that patients want to do more and get better too. It’s a win, win for everyone! Way to go Ghost!!!!

Watch Alita Go! 🐾✨
​Look at sweet Alita, the rescue Italian Greyhound, tackling her rehab course like a pro!
Alita has been struggling to use her right pelvic limb due to an old injury, but as you can see, she is making incredible progress and placing that foot down so well!
​She’s walking over Cavaletti poles set up on baby mattresses. We love using baby mattresses because they provide the perfect unstable surface to build core strength and improve balance.
​We are so proud of this brave girl’s resilience and determination! 💖

Our hearts are heavy this week as we say goodbye to Cooper, an extraordinary dog who brought so much joy to everyone around him.

Cooper was loved beyond measure by his incredible owner, and these photos capture only a small fraction of the vibrant, resilient story he lived. We feel deeply honored to have been a part of his journey and to have shared in his care.

Recently, we said goodbye to sweet Portland. Her pet mom asked that instead of receiving a refund on their remaining rehab package, to pay it forward to a dog in need.
