AI is catching on!

We had to share this one. 🤖🐾
While checking in a new client, we asked how they found Noble Pet Center. Their answer? They asked AI who the best pet boarding facility in the Houston/Spring area was… and Noble popped up! 🧡
We think that’s pretty cool. With 24/7 veterinary technician staffing, individualized care, enrichment, daycare, training, bathing, and specialized medical boarding, we work hard to provide an elevated level of care for every pet who stays with us.
Our clients know it, our pets feel it… and apparently, AI knows it too! 😉

Yesterday, August 23, was Blind Dog Day—a day that reminds us that vision loss does not diminish a dog’s ability to experience happiness, connection, adventure, or a beautiful life.

We honor a very special patient who embodied that truth: Bonnie. 🩷

Bonnie’s journey with us began after she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her left front leg. With the love of her family and care from Dr. Christopher Robinson, Dr. Carlos Souza, and our team, Bonnie underwent surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Her family credits her limb-sparing surgery with giving them 2½ more treasured years together.

Later, Bonnie needed to have her right eye removed because of painful glaucoma and recurring corneal ulcers. Her family shared that after surgery, she was noticeably happier. Bonnie adapted beautifully and continued enjoying the things she loved—including beach days, car rides, cozy beds, and time beside her favorite people.

Dogs experiencing blindness or vision loss often adjust remarkably well. They rely on scent, hearing, touch, familiar routines, and—most importantly—the reassurance of the people they trust. Losing sight, or even an eye, does not mean losing quality of life.

Bonnie passed peacefully at home on August 11, surrounded by her family. Bonnie was never defined by cancer or by what she lost. She will be remembered for everything she continued to give: strength, joy, trust, and unconditional love.

Thank you to Bonnie’s family for allowing us to care for your beautiful girl and for sharing her with us. It was an honor to be part of Bonnie’s journey.

**Did you know?** Black cats are often overlooked in shelters and can wait longer to find their forever homes. Their color may be dark, but their personalities are anything but. 🖤

They’re sweet. They’re silly. They’re affectionate. They’re full of personality—and those gorgeous eyes certainly know how to get your attention! 👀

12-year-old Forrest had a mass removed from his chest at his primary veterinary clinic. It was initially thought to be a lipoma, but when the pathology results came back, his family received news they weren’t expecting: the mass was a Grade 2 soft tissue sarcoma, with cancer cells extending to the surgical margins.

That diagnosis brought Forrest and his family to Animal Cancer & Referral Center and to Dr. Carlos Souza for the next step in his care.

Before moving forward, Forrest underwent advanced imaging to better understand the prognosis. @ Thankfully, his CT scan showed no evidence of metastatic disease. ❤️

Because soft tissue sarcomas can extend microscopically beyond what can be seen or felt, Forrest’s treatment plan included returning to the original surgical site to remove the scar and a wider margin of surrounding tissue—giving him the best possible chance for local control and long-term comfort.

Through it all, Forrest met each step with quiet courage—those gentle eyes, that sweet expression, and just a little tongue peeking out, as if reminding everyone to take things one day at a time. 🥹🐾

After his surgery, his family shared these kind words with our team.

Forrest’s journey is a gentle reminder that even something that appears small or harmless can sometimes be more complex—and when cancer is found, where you go first matters.

Thank you for trusting us with your boy and allowing us to walk alongside Forrest during this chapter of his life. It is a privilege we hold close to our hearts. ❤️

🎓 Hi, friends—Chief here, and I have some pretty BIG news for such a little fluffy guy: I’m officially a chemo graduate! 🐾

My cancer journey began this spring when my doctors discovered a tumor involving my prostate. At 14 years old, I already had a few other things for my medical team to keep an eye on, but my family and I weren’t ready to let that stop us. Together with my oncology team, we made a plan—and I began chemotherapy.

Over the past several months, I returned to ACRC every other week for my vinblastine treatments. I kept eating, drinking, enjoying life, and showing everyone that bravery doesn’t have a size or an age limit. On August 11, I received my eighth and final vinblastine treatment without any immediate complications!

I’ll return soon so my doctors can check my progress and decide what comes next, but today, we are celebrating how far I’ve come.

Thank you to my family for standing beside me through every appointment and to my ACRC team for caring for this fluffy little fighter with so much love.

I may be 14 years young, but I still have plenty of determination underneath all these curls. I did it—I’m a chemo graduate! 🎓🤍🩵🧡

If an oncology concern arises after hours, call us. Our team is here to provide guidance, overnight evaluation, stabilization, symptom management, fluids, and supportive care when needed.
