This is such important information for anyone who rescues a dog and brings them home. ❤️🐾 These precious souls have often been through so much before they ever reach us. They need patience, understanding, love, and time to feel safe and learn to trust again. Please take a moment to read this and follow these guidelines when welcoming a rescue dog into your home. You could make all the difference in helping a frightened, uncertain dog blossom into the loving, trusting companion they were always meant to be. Every rescue deserves that chance. ❤️🐶

❤️🐾 BE THEIR VOICE. SAVE A LIFE. 🐾❤️

Did you know that spaying or neutering your pet can help them live a longer, healthier life? It can also help prevent unwanted litters and reduce the number of animals who end up homeless, abandoned, or in overcrowded shelters.

Every single day, loving dogs and cats wait in rescues and shelters for someone to give them a chance. 💔 There simply aren’t enough homes for all the animals who need one. Rescuers and shelters are overwhelmed, and far too many innocent lives are lost because there just aren’t enough people willing to adopt.

PLEASE, spay and neuter your pets. It’s a simple act of love that can make a lifetime of difference.

And when you’re ready to welcome a furry friend into your family, PLEASE ADOPT, DON’T SHOP! So many wonderful dogs and cats are waiting for someone to see their worth, give them a chance, and love them forever.

Every adoption opens a space for another animal in need. Every spay or neuter helps prevent more unwanted litters. And every life saved matters.

They didn’t ask to be born homeless. They didn’t ask to be abandoned. They’re simply waiting for someone to love them.

BE PART OF THE SOLUTION. SPAY. NEUTER. ADOPT. SAVE LIVES. 🐾❤️

Please share this message. You never know whose heart you might touch or whose life you might help save

🐾❤️ We have the most wonderful news to share… Louie found his forever home! ❤️🐾

Louie is the sweet boy we rescued because he was struggling with severe separation anxiety. We knew he needed some extra patience, love, and support, so we worked with him and, with guidance from our veterinarian, started him on medication to help him along the way. The plan is to slowly wean him off as he continues to improve.

And now, our adopter tells us that Louie is doing great!

We are beyond grateful for adopters who understand that sometimes the dogs who need us most aren’t the “perfect” dogs. They’re the ones with a few extra challenges, a little more baggage, and so much love waiting to be given. They see past the issues and choose to love the dog in front of them.

We truly believe Louie has found his forever family.

We sure do love this sweet boy, and our hearts are so full knowing that we rescued him, gave him a chance, and helped him find the loving home he always deserved.

Happy life, sweet Louie. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

🐾 Let’s Fill This Feed With Some Love! 🐾
We had a great idea for all of our friends here on Facebook: let’s fill this feed with pictures of our animals.
There’s so much negativity in the world right now — political division, war, rising prices, and so much uncertainty. We thought it would be nice to take a few minutes to step away from all of that and simply enjoy something that brings us joy and unity. Our animals always unite us all. That is a fact.
So, please show your dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, pigs, lizards, birds, chickens, or whatever furry, feathered, or scaly pet you share your home with!
Post away, have fun, and let’s fill this feed with smiles, love, gratitude and lots of awesome animals!
From all of us and all of our volunteers at Guardian Angel Dog Rescue, we love you all! ❤️🐾

We’d like to introduce Louie! Louie has had a rough couple of years. He was a stray and then found himself at a county shelter. He was adopted and returned and then was adopted again and luckily, we intercepted him from having to go back to the shelter. Louie is a very sweet 16 lb 4 year old dachshund mix. He loves other dogs and cats. He does have some separation anxiety issues that our rescue has been working on. He will definitely need a patient and loving home. We would love a home with a fenced in yard and another little dog for him to play with. A stay at home family or retiree would be perfect. If you’re interested in Louie visit our website WWW.GADR.ORG
