Frankie's Friends

Frankie's Friends As a national foundation, Frankie's Friends is a lifeline for pets in need of lifesaving emergency and specialty veterinary care.

Bridging the gap between what's medically possible & financially feasible for pets in need throughout the United States. Frankie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other life-threatening conditions. We help save pets’ lives by providing grants to assist with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment.

Rook needed emergency veterinary care for pyothorax to save his life, treatment his paw-rent could not afford. With your donations, , Frankie's Friends helped save Rook.

"After hearing the better news that he could be treated, then came the worry about how much we would have to pay to have my baby be healthy again. I would be extremely grateful to receive funds from Frankie’s Friends. These funds would be able to help take a little bit of the financial burden off of me, and allow me to spend more time with Rook, rather than worrying about how to pay. Rook means the world to me, and receiving these funds would allow us to continue to make amazing memories, as we have only had two years together. Thank you so much.”

Blue needs surgery for a luxating patella today. Her mom relies on disability payments to make ends meet and doesn’t have the extra funds needed to pay for the surgery Blue needs.

She said, “I honestly don’t know how I could ever thank the donors enough. Their kindness would mean more than financial help—it would give Blue a chance to get the care she needs and keep being the happy, goofy girl I love so much. Knowing that strangers cared enough to help her would be something I carry with me forever. Thank you for giving Blue a chance when I needed one most.”

Please donate to help us, help Blue.

“My sweet girl Bella unfortunately came down with an infectious disease… After a positive leptospirosis diagnosis they put together a medical treatment plan to save Bella's life. This treatment plan consisted of IV, catheter, antibiotics and hospitalization in order to nurse her back to good health.

She is only 10 months old, and seeing her sick needing emergency medical care is heartbreaking. As her family we would do anything to make sure she receives the treatment she needs, but the unexpected cost of her care has been incredibly overwhelming. Your generosity would mean more to us than I could ever put into words. It would give us the ability to focus on what matters most, her recovery, without having to worry about how we will afford care that could save her life. Thank you so very much for helping families like ours during moments where we feel scared and helpless. Your kindness gives us hope. We are truly and abundantly grateful for your compassion and generosity, and we will never forget the difference you made for our family, but most of all for Bella.”

“Polo means the world to my kids & I. Receiving help from Frankie’s Friends saved him from losing his leg. He is only 16 weeks old and it broke our hearts to find out he would have to lose his leg so young if we could not afford the fracture repair. We struggle a lot on a day to day basis but seeing my kids happy with their puppy shows me that there things will be okay and things will get better for us if we stay positive.” — Polo's Family

HELP! Miles needs surgery today!
“My family is experiencing significant financial hardship and we are unable to afford the cost of Milles’ emergency surgery. We have already applied for CareCredit/Scratchpay but were not approved, leaving us without financing options. We have exhausted our available resources and cannot cover the cost of this urgent procedure. Milles recently suffered a urethral obstruction that required emergency treatment to relieve the blockage, but that procedure was only temporary. Because the bladder stones remain, his urethra could become blocked again at any time, creating another life-threatening emergency. We are doing everything we can to save him, but we urgently need financial assistance so he can receive the surgery he needs. Any assistance would make a tremendous difference for our family and for Milles’ chance of recovery.” - Miles’ dad

Frankie’s Friends will help Miles, but we need your support. Please donate to help him get the surgery he needs today.
