🐶 Do You Really Understand Reinforcement Schedules?
Most dog owners have heard terms like:

But many people aren't sure when to use them or why they matter.
One of the most common mistakes we see is moving to variable reinforcement too early, before the dog truly understands the behavior.
At Camp Ruff Ruff, we generally start with Continuous Reinforcement when teaching a new behavior. Once the dog demonstrates understanding, fluency, and reliability, we begin transitioning toward more advanced reinforcement strategies.
Remember:
