💔 For the sweet souls we’ve had to say goodbye to these past few months… 💔
I hate making posts like this. There are some dogs who come through our doors and, without us even realizing it, leave paw prints on our hearts that never quite go away.
Over the past few months, we’ve had to say goodbye to some very special babies. We want their families, and everyone who loved them, to know just how deeply we loved them too. They were never “just clients.” They were part of our salon family. We watched their personalities grow, celebrated their happy tails, spoiled them with treats, talked to them like they understood every word (because we’re pretty sure they did 😂), and looked forward to seeing them every visit.
✨ Maddie — our beautiful sweetheart with locks of gold. She had the most gorgeous long hair and such a gentle, loving soul. She was one of those girls you couldn’t help but adore.
✨ Hazel — our sweet and sassy girl. She had no problem letting you know exactly how she felt, especially if you dared to take one of her siblings away from her. 😂 She had such a big personality and was so very loved.
✨ Penny — our quiet, shy girl. She never made much of a fuss and didn’t need to. Her sweet, precious little presence spoke for itself. She was such a special girl.
✨ Cooper — lawd, did this boy have a personality! 😂 And if you were new, you better NOT touch him until Cooper decided you were okay! He definitely had his own rules, and we loved him for every bit of it.
✨ Hudson — our shy boy who never had much to say. He was quiet and gentle, but oh, that happy boy that came out after getting his hair done! Seeing him feeling good and looking handsome was always so sweet.
✨ Joe — where do I even start with our sweet, wild man Joe? ❤️ Every visit, I’m not sure who was more excited for Joe’s arrival—him or us! He brought so much joy, energy, and laughter with him every single time. He was truly one of a kind, and we will miss that wild, sweet boy more than words can say.
Each one of these babies was so incredibly special in their own way. They all had different personalities, different little quirks, and different ways of making us smile, but they all had one thing in common:
We loved them. So, so much. ❤️
Sometimes people may not realize how attached groomers become to the dogs they care for. We get to see them regularly, learn their personalities, know their little habits, and watch them become part of our everyday lives. So when they’re suddenly not walking through our doors anymore, we feel that loss too.
I hate having to make these posts. I wish we didn’t have to say goodbye to any of them. But the impact these sweet babies made on our lives deserves to be acknowledged and remembered. Their time with us may have been part of our work, but the love we had for them was anything but.
To all of their families, please know that we are hurting alongside you. We know how deeply loved these babies were, and we hope you know how deeply loved they were here too. ❤️
Please keep the families of Maddie, Hazel, Penny, Cooper, Hudson, and Joe in your thoughts and prayers as they try to process and navigate the loss of their beloved family members.
Run free, sweet babies. 🌈🐾
You will forever be a part of our salon family, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️
Until we meet again. 🐾
