Field Trip Day for Mango & Riley! 🐾✨
These two put in the work today, practicing real-world skills on a fun outing. From focused heels and solid downs around distractions to calm confidence in public, Mango and Riley showed exactly why structure + consistency = results that stick.
Whether they’re nailing place, ignoring the chaos, or just proving how far they’ve come, days like this are our favorite. Training isn’t just about commands at home — it’s about reliable, enjoyable dogs you can take anywhere.
Proud of these pups and the progress they’re making!

Fetch isn't just fun. It's obedience in disguise.

National Fetch Day is this Saturday, and it's the perfect excuse to clean up your dog's retrieve.

From wild chase to polite game:
• Wait for the release before they bolt
• Bring it all the way back, not a drive-by drop at 10 feet
• "Drop" on cue, not after a tug-of-war
• You end the game, not them looping forever

A solid fetch builds impulse control, focus, and a dog who works *with* you outdoors around Greenville and Simpsonville.

Want help locking that in? Private lessons cover the foundation fast.

Day 4 and Riley and Mango are locking it in.
Sit stays and place are looking solid. The kind of work that turns “they might stay” into “they will stay,” even when the distractions show up.
Consistency is doing the heavy lifting. Same commands, same expectations, a little more proofing every session. That’s how reliability actually gets built.
Proud of these two. The owners are going to feel the difference.
Want this kind of progress for your dog? Board & Train and private lessons are open. Call or text 864-757-4739, DM “TRAIN,” or head to fendleyk9.com.

Welcome to the program, Dixie.

Recall is one of the first skills we build with every dog that comes through Fendley K9, and for good reason. “Come” is not a party trick. It is the command that can keep a dog out of the road, away from another dog, or from disappearing after a squirrel.

A reliable recall means Dixie notices the cue, leaves the distraction, and comes all the way back even when something more interesting is competing for her attention. That reliability is how confidence and safety get built: one clear repetition at a time.

Proud to have her here. We’ll keep you posted as she locks it in.

✨ Welcome to the pack, Lumi! ✨
We’re so excited to welcome Lumi to our Private Lesson Program. This is where owner and dog learn together one-on-one, at your pace, with training tailored to Lumi’s unique personality.
Private lessons are the perfect path for families who want to stay hands on while building real life obedience: loose-leash walking, come, sit, down, place, heel, and the calm, confident manners that last at home and out in the world.
Lumi, we can’t wait to watch you shine. Let’s get to work. 🐾
