❤️🐴🐴Levi is home after 12 days in the hospital! His best friend, Dan Mustang, (and his whole LFAS family) are thrilled to have Levi back home.🏡

Levi says thank you to everyone who donated toward his beautiful new Mini Barn to keep him safe, dry and out of the sun while he continues to recuperate. Every dollar helps!

We also appreciate any and all donations to go toward Levi’s medical bills.🏥We’ve had quite a month with expenses.

Please support your favorite sanctuaries, shelters and rescues. We are all facing rising expenses.

🏥🐴❤️Our Levi is still at UCDavis Vet Hospital. (See previous post) Levi has been a treasured member of our LFAS family for 17 years. Rescuing and giving lifetime care to animals is our passion and our “calling” but it’s not an easy way to live. There is joy. But there is also heartbreak.

We are hoping Levi will come back home. Meanwhile his medical bills are still adding up.

Please continue to hold Levi in your hearts and donate if you can.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated toward Levi’s hospital bill. Every dollar helps!

🏥🐴🙏Please send Levi love and positive energy! Our beloved boy has been at UCDavis Vet Hospital for 2 weeks!

When Levi’s lower face and one of his nostrils suddenly and very dramatically swelled up…our local vet immediately referred us to UCDavis Vet Hospital as an emergency. We were very scared we might lose our sweet Levi. So asap Bill trailered him to Davis.

During Levi’s intake exam at UCD hospital, everything seemed to point to an aggressive infection or a TUMOR. We were so scared! But Levi’s biopsies came back NEGATIVE😥so we are very grateful the vet team at UCD had already put Levi on strong IV antibiotics.

To accommodate Levi’s needs (if🤞and when he comes home) we contacted a trusted builder. He went into high gear to build a “Medical Mini Barn” for Levi…to keep him closer to our house and out of the sun.

Note: We have needed a quarantine space for a long time and Levi’s emergency forced us to get it done asap.

As you can imagine, Levi’s medical bills, and our new Mini Barn/Quarantine building, have run up bills in the $$$thousands of dollars. But when one of our rescued animals has a medical emergency we must do what is best for them.

If you can donate to help us with these emergency bills we would be eternally grateful.💗And please send Levi lots of positive energy. Our sweet boy is not home yet but we are hopeful!🙏Note: We are very glad we moved our sanctuary last year from Central California (even though it’s been very expensive and stressful) to get closer to UCDavis Vet Hospital for the BEST LARGE animal vet care in the US!

🏡LFAS is our home. Our Haven of Happiness. This is where people, and our rescued family members, find peace and happiness.

Everyone in this video was either directly, or indirectly, saved from slaughter.

NOT supporting the Animal Ag industry is good for EVERYONE…and our beautiful, fragile Planet. Please live vegan. It’s easy once you connect to the suffering this vile, filthy industry causes.

😻😻Awww…Happy CATURDAY from Froggy and Hana!

Two lucky “stray kitties” who will never be separated. In a world filled with chaos and violence their devotion to each other makes my heart so happy.❤️

Have a great weekend everyone and remember…

❤️🐔❤️Roosters. The most misunderstood gentlemen. Roosters are funny, smart, social and adorable. We love roosters but we can’t save them all. We can’t even save more. We are full.

‼️‼️Please NEVER buy baby chicks. Some WILL be roosters. If you are assured they are all hens that’s a lie.

Note: Sunny Blue was “supposedly” a hen. Oops! But he got very lucky. Sunny Blue got his forever home with us and we adore this little comedian.🏡
